Jack Palance, Janet Leigh Star in MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. Intrigue on TCM

As part of their all-day Jack Palance tribute, TCM is showing what they're calling THE SPY IN THE GREEN HAT. It's actually a two-part 1966 episode from the TV series THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. in which Palance is the main bad guy and Janet Leigh plays his sadistic side-kick. Wonderfully out-dated and breathlessly fun to watch, it errs on TCM Monday morning.

TROPIC Thunders to Top Spot, CLONE  WARS Crash Lands at #3

The juvenile antics of a group of fictional action stars beat out the latest STAR WARS entry, finally knocking DARK KNIGHT from its multi-week reign as #1. TROPIC THUNDER took first place, and the cartoon CLONE WARS had the lowliest Lucas opening ever ($14.6 million).
