28thRAZZIES to go on, Oscars or No Oscars

As the one Hollywood award show used to having no stars attend -- and also the only one unaffected by WGA strike pickets -- we had alwaze planned to go ahead with our 28th Annual RAZZIE® Awards ceremonies regardless of what developed with The 80th Annual Giving Out of the Little Gold Men®. And besides, did anyone actually believe The Academy of Motion Picture Farts and Scientologists would let their cash cow go the way of The Golden Globs??

I had a great time at this year's ceremony.  The "American 'idle'" pun reached a new low for me.    It was great to see Bill Jones come out at the end of each movie clip and either react to the clip or react to our groans.  The jokes and performances of the presenters was delightful.  I wish Lindsay Lohan and Eddie Murphy were present to receive their awards, but I fully understand why they wouldn't show up.
