HeadRAZZ, do you dislike Mia Farrow? You keep mentioning her in a
negative way when mentioning this movie.You also did that for The Omen remake. 

Response from Head RAZZberry: I have alwaze found Farrow's success and longevity to be inexplicable. Other than her curious (and widely divergent) choices in lifemates (Andre Previn, Frank Sinatra and Woody Allen -- Three men who have next-to-nothing in common except being famous) I find next-to-nothing about her (or any of her performances except in ROSEMARY'S BABY) interesting or appealing... 

Shrek was a movie that had a smart plot - it wasn't aiming itself at kids, but at an adult audience.  I saw "Shrek 2" in the movies, and the audience, however limited b/c it was an early evening weekday showing - was mostly late teens and older.  My mom and I, who were 50 and 21, respectively, enjoy movies like this, and saw it.  In fact, a guy who was younger than me told us to stay and see the end (the younger audience members already left) b/c he had seen it already.  While Shrek wasn't geared toward younger kids, while maintaining a PG rating, adults tend to appreciate it more.  I just don't see the same connection with "Arthur."

This is like Lady in the water in which the problem is with the writer/director not with any of the actors really. I smell another "Swept Away" for Madonna - my brother is one of the few people who actually "rented" that movie (from the video store we both used to work at). At least he didn't pay to see it!  LOL!

Response from Head RAZZberry: Mayhaps Madonna isn't getting her usual ripping reviews, but the film itself is hardly a hit with critics. Opening in limitied release in New York and LA, it is currently (9:35am/PST on 12-29-06) getting a troll-sized 20% Approval Rating at Rotten Tomatoes (LINK)...
