I tend to agree with Headrazz and those who are predicting that The Lone Ranger's box office prospects are looking dire.

The budget is HUGE and yet it doesn't seem to be attracting the amount of buzz that usually surrounds a movie of this magnitude.

Plus Depp has been on a bit of a downward spiral at the box office with The Rum Diary and Dark Shadows. And even The Pirates movies have depended increasingly on the international box office, but The Lone Ranger is a western and westerns don't do as well internationally.

I have said before "The Heat" looks very cool and funny. Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock seem like they have great chemistry as friends on screen. The story might seem a little goofy, but maybe the goofiness of the film might work. Oh most definitely. Grounder doesn't have a web cam but we can still talk on Skype while I'm recording the video to post on YouTube.

The thing with World War Z is that I felt like this concept of Zombies taking over or destroying the world has been done to death. Not Just in films but TV Shows and books as well. Also, I do like horror movies but I lean more towards things that could ACTUALLY HAPPEN in real life. Like I really want to see "The Purge" and I am a big fan of the "Scream" Franchise.

On the matter of Brad Pitt, I don't think he's a bad actor. I just think he's a little...type cast. He always plays the lead guy who pretty much should be called "Prince Charming 2.0". VITS, your review was great! I agree with almost everything. My problem with the first three is that they seemed cheesy to me. Almost like I was reading a comic book instead of watching a movie. I guess that was the point, but movies and Comic books are two completely different mediums. Where did you hear that? I did not see any early reviews.

I do have a feeling that The Heat has to really prove itself since This Is the End got such a positive reception.

Plus, The Heat was suposed to be released on the same week as The Evil Dead remake, but it got pushed back. I love how what was supposed to be a discussion about box office quickly changed into talk about white people playing Native Americans. 

I really hope all the talk about Lone Ranger does not overshadow the fact that The Heat and White House Down are coming out a week before it. Those films should not be missed.
