GOOD THING I RENTED IT AND DIDN'T WASTE MORE $$ ON THAT JUNK. I DID STILL WANT TO GET MY $$ BACK BUT WHY WASTE MORE TIME AND ENERGY ON THAT CRAP. I DID EVERYTHING ELSE WHILE IT WAS ON (READ MAGAZINES, PLAYED WITH MY PUPPY) I COULDN'T TAKE THE ACTING THE PLOT NOTHING BUT I MADE IT TO THE END AND BOY WAS I HAPPY IT WAS OVER. NOT EVERY COMIC BOOK IS MOVIE MATERIAL IF IT IS CHOOSE BETTER ACTORS THEN. MAYBE I SHOULD BECOME AN ACTRESS SINCE THERE'S A BUNCH OF NO TALENT HACKS OUT THERE GETTING MOVIE DEALS AND SUCH. EYE CANDY TO SAY THE LEAST BUT NO ACTING CHOPS. I WASN'T IMPRESSED WITH THE FIRE GUY HE WAS LAME AND JESSICA ALBA A "SCIENTIST"? LOL. IT REALLY WASN'T "FANTASTIC". ANYTHING BUT FANTASTIC

He used the exact same acting techniques he uses in Nip/Tuck in this film!

Hopefully he will be "sticking to FX," from now on, although I'm not so sure, he doesn't have a good "sticking record," for TV shows.

An Hour and a Half of Horror : Hands down the worst movie I've...

    Author: Dvondudley2
Subject: 28
Posted: July 14 2005 at 3:44am

Hands down the worst movie I've seen this year. By the end of the movie I was contemplating whether to boo (realized they wouldn't hear me) or demand my money back, I did the latter...but to no avail. Jessica Alba definitely deserves the razzie for worst actress, by far (She's definitely just T&A). Julian McMahon and Michael Chiklis really disappointed me...it's as if the horrible script diminished any great acting techniques they had from Nip/Tuck and The Shield. Ioan Gruffudd??? I know you're thinking who the hell is that? Why did he get cast as the lead? You'll still be thinking the same thing after the movie's over. Chris Evans....shame shame shame, another one of those all looks no talent type of actors. Ok so you want a plot summary, prepare yourself, 5 people go into space, get hit by a wave of fire/chemicals/nuclear waste(maybe) and all have different effects, the story basically revolves around "The Thing" which we are supposed to have sympathy for the whole movie...but it was lost after I saw he still loved his wife after the way she reacted. Then throughout the movie it builds up the "ultimate showdown" (Overstatement of the year) of the Fantastic Four Vs Dr Doom (Julian)...I wonder who wins that one? Guess you'll have to see the movie to figure out that mystery . To top it all off, the conclusion points to the possibility of a sequel to this horrible mess of a movie. Another thing, Tim Story (Director) and Avi Arad(Producer) I'm sorry to be the first to tell you (Most likely not) but comedy is just not your thing. So to conclude I'd like to say Julian and Michael stick to FX. Chris Evans and Jessica Alba maybe you should think about modeling? I heard you don't have to speak as much Ioan Gruffudd...I know there are great actors that come from Britain, maybe you could get some advice from them, maybe? Hopefully X-Men 3 and Spider-Man 3 can help revive the comic book movie adaptation genre, because with movies like The Hulk, Elektra, Catwoman, Hellboy, Punisher, and Daredevil it may very well be a dying breed.
