It had a few bad moments,and Diane Keaton's performance...wow!I think the director was so excited for workin'with her,but when he noticed the bad actin',he was afraid to speak up(like with Shirley MacLane's character in BEWITCHED).She shouldn't have done SMOTHER the same year,that's another reason why both movies floped.
 
But all together,it's a good movie.
 
Whenever is on T.V.,I try to watch the scene where DAPHNE accidentally puts porn on her computer.

This is, by far, the worst film I've seen all year. It makes "Epic Movie" look like "Monty Python And The Holy Grail" and "Norbit" look like "Coming To America". It's that bad.

It's one of those films that you can't just bash and be over with... one of those films that you stew over for a few days, just thinking of bad things to say about it.

Mandy Moore was the lead in both movies, and probably the best part of both of them, too. She shouldn't be up for any Razzies.

Response from Head RAZZberry: Although Moore may wind up listed on our Nominating Ballot with both of these titles, my gut feeling is that there are far worse (and far likelier to be nominated) choices this year in both of our Actress categories -- Diane Keaton (whose work I usually admire) in this film is certainly among the worthier choices.

TRIVIA: The names of the daughters (Maggie - Lauren Graham , Milly - Mandy Moore , and Mae - Piper Perabo) come from an e.e. cummings poem that starts "Maggie and Milly and Molly and May went to he beach to play one day."

People don't want to see the star of a movie playing a bad guy.  We all live in the real world and we simply don't like this kind of character being the star.   Remember Batman? This movie has some references to like three other films, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), Love in the Afternoon (1957), and Fiddler on the Roof (1971).

As for Micheal Lehmann, who "won" the Worst Director RAZZIE for Hudson Hawk (1991), he's kept on directing. His "credits" include Airheads (1994), The Truth About Cats & Dogs (1996), My Giant (1998), 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002), and Trash (2003) (a TV movie). He also has another film called Flakes, currently in-production.

tomsmo, I think the Worst Remake or Rip-Off Razzie is for the titles of the films, not for the actors/actresses. Same thing for Worst Prequel or Sequel.
