JOHN WILSON 

Founder/Head RAZZberry, The GoldenRaspberry (RAZZIE®) Awards 

As a lifelong inhabitant of Planet Hollywood, JohnWilson has seen more than 5,000 movies, many of them in his role as thefounder of the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation and creator of theinternationally known RAZZIE® Awards, which havedis-honored Worst Achievements in Film since 1980.

He was recently saluted by E!TV as"the foremost authority on all things that suck on the big screen."As the writer/director and publicist for the RAZZIE ceremonies, Wilson has honed the Awards’ public profile and sense of humor bywriting the shows’ scripts and press releases, by administering the Foundation’swebsite (amassing millions of hits a year) and by being the public face of theRAZZIES through radio TV, andprint interviews with media from around the world. He was recently a featured commentator in the 2013 TV Guide Network special "Count 'Em Down: Hollywood's 25 Biggest Flops."  

A graduate of UCLA's prestigious motionpicture/TV studies program, Wilson has spent decades as a writer, producer,director, publicist and creative consultant for many entertainment industryclients, including Disney, Fox, PBS and the Academy Awards. Wilson’s firstbook, a compilation of film-still-illustrated cinematic cliché's entitled Everything I Know I Learned at the Movies was published in 1995. His second book, The Official RAZZIE Movie Guide, which lists his choices as the 100 funniest bad movies ever made, appeared onthe Los Angeles Times Best Seller List.
