According to the L.A. Times' article about grosses for the weekend DEVIL INSIDE opened (LINK) movie-goers polled by CinemaScore gave this a rare "F" -- which might explain why, though its total numbers for the first 3 days of release were impressive, the pattern of its day-to-day numbers was alarmingly downhill (dropping about 50% from Saturday to Sunday).
