One not nominated.. anyone see that AWFUL AWFUL Last Days film loosely based around the death of Kurt Cobain? Well.. As bad as Son Of The Mask and Bewitched are at least they contain cinematic essentials such as characters and narrative..

I was afraid Elektra would get nods, but there are so many worse movies that I'm not afraid anymore... well, at least Jennifer Garner won't be nominated, I hope...

I'm shocked that Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy didn't make the list. 

On the money front, it was a bomb. 

Critically, it was panned by most everyone. 

And worst of all: it managed to be the first adapation of a book to film that I think committed both of the cardinal sins of this kind of movie.

Usually, you either get something so faithful to the book that you can't get the movie without having read the book... or you get something that totally misses the point of the book

In this case, the movie sucked out all the humor of Douglas Adams' writing, replaced it with slapstick and bad puns but left in a few "in-jokes" for the fans while removing the set-up for the jokes.

Charlize Theron is a great actress... She doesn't deserve to be nominated to the Razzie Award for Worst Actress.. Gwyneth Paltrow is a brilliant actress, too. It's ridiculous to say that she has a terrible performance in "Proof". I think it's her best performance since "Shakespeare in Love". She's great but I, personally, don't think that she'll be nominated to the oscars for that movie.

I think that Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie deserve to be nominated to Worst Actress. Rumor has it... is a f**k'in sh*t and Mrs and Mrs. Smith is terrible.

For worst couple, I suggest:

Samuel L.Jackson and (the most idiot actor of all) Eugene Levy in "The Man".

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt (Mr and Mrs Smith)

Sean William Scott and Johnny Knoxville (Dukes of Hazzard)

Adam Sandler and Chris Rock or Burt Reynolds (The Longest Yard)

Paris Hilton and that guy (House of Wax)..

For Worst Supporting Actress, I suggest:

Jessica Alba (Into the Blue, The Fantastic Four)

Jessica Simpson (Dukes of Hazzard)

Carmen Electra (Cheaper by Dozen 2, Dirty Love)

Paris Hilton (House of Wax)

Ashley Simpson (Undiscovered)

I think it will be a great competion for this five actresses. They are all bad, not talented and they think are great and sexy. Go home! Go out! Hollywood is to great for you!

Personally I think it would be a shame if Russell Crowe didn't get an Oscar nomination for CINDERELLA MAN. The movie's plot was familiar, but he gave a great performance as a wonderful human being, without actually being one in real life ( Zing! ).

The original 1953 George Pal version of WAR OF THE WORLDS, starring Gene Barry and featuring way cool 1950s special effects, is STILL the superior movie. I read somewhere that Paramount is putting out a Special Collector's Edition DVD of this version just before the Spielberg/Cruise remake hits store shelves in November. Do yourself a favor and, if you ony watch ONE of them, make it THE ORIGINAL

The Current Industry Buzz for Best Actor centers on Philip Seymour Hoffman for CAPOTE, Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash in WALK THE LINE and Jeff Daniels for THE SQUID AND THE WHALE. For Best Actress, the two names most frequently mentioned at this point (early October) are Charlize Theron for NORTH COUNTRY and Reese Witherspoon (as June Carter Cash) in WALK THE LINE...

I find it interesting that fellow former Best Actress Oscar® winners Theron and Frances McDormand appear together in BOTH NORTH COUNTRY and AEON FLUX -- And that BOTH could be fellow nominees for BOTH Awards (Oscars® and RAZZIES®) for BOTH films (Theron as BOTH Best/Worst Actress and McDormand as BOTH Best/Worst Suporting Actress)...

Sure 2005 HAS been rotten -- But have you seen CAPOTE or GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK??  They may not make up for the 217 other Truly Lousy Movies that have already come out this year, but maybe they're the forerunners of a return to movies with brains??

HEY, I CAN DREAM, CAN'T I???

And supposedly the lovely Ms. Theron is thought to be a front runner for a Little Gold Naked Man for Best Actress in the film NORTH COUNTRY. If she also gets a Worst Actress Razzie nomination for AEON FLUX, she could be the first to be nominated in both leading categories the same year!!!

How's this for INSTANT response? I just checked the IMdB, and AEON FLUX (starring Oscar winner Charlize Theron) is due out from Paramount/MTV Films December 2 of this year in the US, and December 30 in the UK.

Meaning it QUALIFIES as a contender for this year's 26th Razzies®!!
