I personally have no idea what the thought provess was behind why they waited. I think Eddie Murphy is sort of a male "cougar" lol I don't know there's just something about him. 1000 WORDS is dated. It was released 4 years after it was filmed, and has pop culture references from 2008 that had no relevance in 2012 That's why we always trash filmmakers like Seltzer-Berg, who rely on that.
