I guess it's his career going full circle: great movie about Indian culture and way of life to insultingly bad mocking of Indian culture and their way of life. He needs to stick to the former.

The film itself was kind of a all over the place, but it was still entertaining. And all of the performances were good (With the exception of Ben Kingsley, who was too over-the-top). This was definitley Hilary Duff's breakout role, and I am pretty excited to see where her career goes from here.

 

P.S. I always believed that she didn't deserve her first two Razzie nominations, and I thought you guys kind of were picking on her (just my opinion of course).

I just saw this now and I have to disagree. This movie was actually very good and very funny. I really think this should be taken off the forum because it isn't bad. And Hilary Duff is also very good. It was a little awkward to watch the things they had her doing because of who she is and what her reputation is but this is her best performance to date and neither she, nor this movie, deserve consideration for a Razzie this year.

I actually saw this today and found it was really funny. Hilary Duff played again type, and actually delivered a great performance. Everybody else did a great job. *** 1/2 stars for this movie!

BTW, the movie's a satire of the Middle East, so a little over-the-top casting is,, I feel, necessary for this kind of genre.

The listing for this on the front page of the Razzie website suggests it's getting worse reviews than Uwe Boll's Postal. Fearing that the universe had spun out of alignment and the apocalypse was approaching, I went over to RT to confirm the facts. While War, Inc was rated lower than Postal earlier this week, the universe is now back in alignment: War Inc still has a Razzie-worthy rating of 22% positive, but Postal is now lower, with a 17% favorable number...

Guess I can stop stocking up on canned goods, duct tape and batteries!
