I hate Hostel ..

Itīs so ugly and dumb .. The whole movie people get torture ... I just can say one word: DUMB !!

I'm already surprised that when this and "BloodRayne" opened on thesame weekend, everyone chose to see a movie about people gettingdismembered over an average "campy entertainment" film. (Iexpected Uwe Boll's film to actually beat this, to tell you the truth)

I really want to see a good horror movie, like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th. In their day, those movies scared a person. Now I was really looking forward to seeing Hostel based on all of the reviews: " Best Horror Film in a decade" "SICK" "TWISTED." I was thinking maybe this one will finally match those movies I spoke of earlier. Nothing could be further. It was not at all scary, sick OR twisted. Not even gross. Just a total waste of time and money.

 Where are Michael, Freddy and Jason when we need them?

I agree with Gondo. This movie is the typical product made by ignorant assholes which think they are cool just because they are Americans and that they can laugh about other peoples and countries even though they don't know a sh*t about them. I'm really tired about stupid jokes about Europe. And it makes me angry to realize that still we can find in american movies such stupid conceptions about people from Eastern Europe (Slovakia in this case). People from Eastern Europe, and I'm talking concretely about Slavs, are wonderful; I know it for sure, because I have many Slavic friends and my wife is Russian. Slovakia is a beautiful country which hasn't anything to do with that Tarantino's sh*t.
