Since the '80s we've been told geeks can get the most popular girl.And it's true...unless:
1)The guy has 0 charm and confidence.
2)The guy does something stupid or awkward every 2 seconds.
3)The guy's feelings for the girl are only physical(she points it out at one point).
4)The girl,despite moments of sweetness,is a total b*tch!
5)The guy and the girl's talks aren't deep and they bond over practically nothing.
I was pissed that they kept shoving that message down our throats and at the same time highlighting the guy's geekness.

The movie was funny and sweet,but not enough.And the entire time is obvious why,and how it could've been funnier and sweeter.

I give this 5/10.

I was expecting more from this movie.
This counts as comedy but found it more serious than comedy. I think in this movie is too less College style jokes. But this is my personal opinion.

If you want to spend good evening with your girlfriend this movie will entertain very good.

Back in April when I saw 17 Again, I was for sure that I had seen the
worst teen comedy movie of the year. I now stand corrected 6 1/2
months later after seeing I Love You, Beth Cooper. This is without a
doubt, one of the worst coming-of-age comedies I've seen in years, and I
will eat my hand if I see a worse one this year (or five years in fact).

What I find most interesting is that it's based on a well-received novel
and the screenplay written by the same author of the original book.
Throw in the guy who directed Home Alone and Mrs. Doubtfire
and one would think that this would be one of the funniest movies of the
year. So what went wrong in the process? I have no idea where I should
point my fingers, but whatever wit or insight there was in the screenplay
must have been lost in translation somehow because barely is the movie

I have no idea why Fox is a mainstream actress. She looks like a porn star, she has the acting ability of a porn star, she once said she has the sex drive of a porn star, so I say she might as well become a porn star, because when people go to see her movies, it's not her performances they want to see.

Ulgh... Chris Evans' Human Torch had my brain cringing! Chiklis was fine though, and I didn't really have a big problem with (Insanely British Name Guy) as Reed Richards.

Jennifer's Body didn't look terrible. "I go both ways" didn't do anything for me.

And then, oh yes, THIS movie. Yea, I don't think it looked like a straight to DVD, but as for "most forgettable," I could see that. This looks utterly devoid of any major appeal. But from what I gather, the twist is that the prom queen learns to be herself, and SHE'S the character who evolves, rather than the nerd, so... that's different. True, Hayden was once part of Disney Channel's herd of actreses. But that was during the time we still had Even Stevens (remember when Christy Carlson Romano was going to be a big actress?), that Tru Confessions movie (remember when Disney dealt with real-life situations?), and Kim Possible (remember when Disney Channel aired cartoons?)

I don't know about Megan Fox, though. Whether or not she's a good actress is up in the air. She could have easily been an actress who did only DTV junk for the rest of her life, but she became a big star after Transformers. And look at all the films she has in the pipeline. Hell, that Jennifer's Body film looks downright entertaining, something that could join Drag Me to Hell as one of the best times any true horror fan would have at the cineplex. And who could roll their eyes at the "It smells like Thai food. Have you guys been f**king?" and "I go both ways" jokes? And let's not forget the creators of Juno are behind it, Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody, and from what I hear, they're hot commodities.

Jessica Alba seems like a lost cause. She went from a Golden Globe nominee for Dark Angel (a James Cameron TV show no less) to one of the worst actresses of our generation. Let's hope whoever plays Sue Storm in the long-gestating Fantatic Four reboot can do more than half the job she could. Though I would keep Michael Chiklis and Chris Evans, they filled the shoes of their roles respectively.
