    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.razzies.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=8803">Vits</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> LAST CHANCE 2-B UN-ORIGINAL...<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> January 12 2011 at 1:11pm<br /><br /><FONT size=3 face="Courier New, Courier, mono">I just saw this,and I was dissapointed to read in the credits that it was a remake because the best part was the originality of the script.But I checked the differences and it has a lot of good new things.</FONT><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><FONT size=3 face="Courier New, Courier, mono">It was wrongly marketed.The premise everywhere said "Two parents get back at the people that hurt their daughter".That doesn't happen until the last 1/3 of the movie.It's because that must've been the premise&nbsp;of the original.I read Wes Craven was mad because the studio told him to cut a lot of the original one,so they must've put it in this one and it made this longer.The director should've known that when reading the script.Because of it,and the fact the movie </FONT><DIV><FONT size=3 face="Courier New, Courier, mono">visually wasn't very scary,I feel he's the weak spot.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=3 face="Courier New, Courier, mono"></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><FONT size=3 face="Courier New, Courier, mono">I give this 6/10.</FONT></DIV></DIV>]]>

Considering that a significant amout of Raimi's work has been in the horror genre, there is a very significant difference between praising someone for high standards as established by the genre historically, and praising someone for high standards established by the genre lately.</DIV>]]>
