Most of the laughs came in the climax(the airport scene).The rest were mostly forced.

I don't mind certain cliches,but having Eva Longoria Parker as a bitch the whole movie,and then changing like nothing...

Except for Jason Biggs and Lindsay Sloane hooking up at the end,I knew everything that was going to happen.

The biggest shock for me was when I read this was a romantic comedy.

The trailer did look like crap: Not even Paul Rudd could save it. I liked Just Like Heaven with all its LAMENESS so maybe I will like this awful-rated film. Sometimes you can see through a movie but you nevertheless know what kind of crap it is. I saw this one tonight. However, I've also seen it about a thousand times before. This movie was so painfully formulaic that I started worrying that people would be tripping over my dead body on the way out. The good news is that if I ever sit through this plot one more time, I'll win a set of steak knives.

However, I hasten to point out that even the dreadful 14% this movie scored at RT is way above the shut out Strange Wilderness is pitching. It is at 0%.

I don't think the romantic comedy crowd will ever turn out in droves to watch a fantasy, and I feel the reverse is true as well. I'm also not surprised at this film's critical reception, we are dealing with Jeff Lowell, writer of previous RAZZIE hopeful JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE. I'll admit, I found that TUCKER wasn't as obnoxious as I feared, but we're still dealing with mediocre comedy at best, and I would imagine this film's quality will hover around that same level.
