What I took from Chris Stuckmann's video is that we shouldn't boo at a movie in a theatre (specially if the cast and crew are present), but we should applaud. My grandma said something similar: That the Razzies shouldn't exist, but the Oscars should.

I don't think it's immature to express your hate to a movie. I don't see the difference between booing, throwing tomatoes, and writing a review were you directly insult the movie and everyone involved (which Mr. Stuckmann has done).

He mentioned good movies that were booed at Cannes. What about the bad ones? I don't know who every person at the screenings is, but if the majority reacts the same way, then it's a valid concensus.

After Earth... I had to watch the trailer again. It really does look like M. Night film. What do I mean? It's pretty much the Si-fi version of "the Happening" and pretty much has lame effects like in "The Last Airbender".

Like both those films, the acting looks very forced and unemotional. Seems like there's only three actors in the film (if you want to count that woman in the Foto Funny), Will and Jaden have no real father and son connection on screen at all. There's no emotion coming from either of them and I've noticed Jaden Smith does the signature "Bella" stare a lot.

SO here's my question. Should I even see this film?? To me, no because it's one of those films you know is bad by just looking at the trailer. WE CAN'T CLAIM 100% of the CREDIT for THIS FILM's ENTIRE CAMPAIGN NOT HAVING the NERVE to EVEN HINT THAT IT WAS HELMED by the GUY WHO TRIED to GIVE US LADY IN THE WATER, THE HAPPENING and THE LAST AIRBENDER...BUT IT's NOT TOO MUCH of a STRETCH  for US to CLAIM at LEAST SOME of the CREDIT for THAT.

If you were releasing a movie directed by someone so loathed by movie-goers that you were willing to give up listing the names of your two stars in paid advertising just to avoid invoking the DGA clause that forces you to name the director in those ads...would you pre-screen the film for critics?

Didn't think so! Here's a Rotten Tomatoes LINK to see if 100% of the critics at R.T. mention the "Anti-M" strategy when they review AFTER EARTH...
