Just like MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA was the perfect example of an average movie,this was the perfect example of an average rom-com.I laughed to half the jokes.

Every 15 minutes it becomes more and more formulaic,but it gains points for having genuin drama.

Katherine Heigl does an O.K. job.

I give it 50%.In the U.S. it's a C-,and in Chile it's a 4,5.

I see what you mean; either that or wardrobe was way off. Now if the picture were entitled 27 Pairs of Shoes, we might have more of an audience, as that would be a concept a wider female audience--or maybe both genders--can relate to.

It actually looks like they rushed making this movie because of Heigl's rising fame from Knocked-Up. Looks like another lame Wedding Planner-Best-Friend's-Wedding-colorful-type-of bride-crap! I wouldn't pay a buck to see it, I'm rather gonna wait to see a TS screener for download.

By the way, the flick that paced last year's comedy casualties was P.S. I Suck You with Hilary Swank!

This is the second directorial effort by Anne Fletcher, whose previous film was the painfully cliched Step Up. This film appears to be equally as predictable, and given the simultaneous release of the formula-laden Mad Money, this could be the most crippling weekend for female-targeted comedies we see all year!
