His performance as Mater in CARS was pretty funny, though that did not keep him from receiving a RAZZIE nod for LARRY THE CABLE GUY: HEALTH INSPECTOR. Anyway dipitlow555, can you comment about your thoughts on Larry's Berry Bad Performance in that film?

Is it me, or does Larry The Cable Guy (what kind of name is that?!) think he's funny? Congratulations, Razilla. For the very first, and probably last time in the history of the English or any other language (with the exception of the sentence I am now typing), you have managed to jam "Larry the Cable Guy" and "Academy Award winner" into the same sentence.

The guess here, however, is that if Larry continues to pursue a motion picture career, "Larry the Cable Guy" and "Razzie winner" may start appearing together with the frequency of "Sylvester Stallone" and "Razzie winner."

I spotted this film as a possible RAZZIE contender when I first looked at the poster, which makes it look like a rip-off of Full Metal Jacket, when it's actually a rip-off of every war film ever made...

Ah, yes, I KNEW this movie would make its way to this forum. I tell ya, Larry the Cable Guy was only good in Cars - and that's only because it's hard to screw up a Pixar film.

Perhaps, if this movie's bad enough, it could earn him another Razzie nom. At the very least, it could end up making as much as his last live-action film did - $15.7 million  

Response from Head RAZZberry: Actually, from its opening figures, it looks like DELTA FARCE will have a struggle even making it to 50% of the grosses for LARRY THE CABLE GUY: HEALTH INPECTOR. On 1710 screens the weekend of March 24, 2006, LTCGHI managed to take in $6,922,767 in its first 3 daze. DF is playing on over 200 more screens (1,931 total) but "grossed" a paltry $3.5 million its first 3 daze. And, while visitors to B.O. MoJo gave LTCGHI a Surprisingly Generous grade of "C," the current rating on DF is a Deadly "D"...
