Yo, moviewizguy: Sounds like you're defending this movie. Even I (as a longtime fan and defender of Stallone, and someone who's taken more than his share of abuse on this Forum) would NOT go there...

I'm not sure whether to admire your guts...or pity you for your lack of taste in movies!

Plot: A 12 year old boy and his mother become the targets of two warring werewolf packs, each with different intentions and motives.

Now actually reading that, it sounds interesting and also a bit like Stardust.

This movie looks like it should have been one of the trailers in "Grindhouse." 

I know! I was so ticked when they stopped airing reruns of MST3K! I've been getting the DVD's since (only got the essentials though). Yeah, the MST3K theme song was the best. It's my #1 theme song along with The Simpsons and (strangely) the theme from All My Children...

Response from Head RAZZberry: Because the core going-to-the-movies-every-week audience is composed of about 85% teen-agers... 

Last time I checked, HeadRazz, the release date has been pushed back until August 10. Something about not having two competing horror films in the same weekend: last time this happened was with the first horrible "Hostel" and the first "BloodRayne" back in January '06 (Even though this film was cheesy bad, I still wanted "BloodRayne" to do WAY better than "Hostel" in its opening weekend.)

This time it would've gone up against Lohan's "I Know Who Killed Me" (Lionsgate) and After Dark pulled it at the last minute.

Response from Head RAZZberry: I happened to TiVo the Sci-Fi Channel's Saturday night movie (ATOMIC TWISTER) this past weekend, and it included ads for SKINWALKERS, with the release date shown on-screen as "7-27-7." B.O. MoJo does now list SKINWAKLERS as being set for releasee on Friday, August 10 (LINK). Although ads on Sci-Fi are probably not that expensive to air, someone at After Dark Films certainly ought to be fired for this amusing error...
