Don't get me wrong, Amy Adams is beautiful, she's sexy, she has acting talent, but this movie was a mistake for her. IN AT THE MOVIES' WORST of the YEAR SHOW for 2009, BOTH CRITICS BEMOANED the SORRY STATE of the ROMANTIC COMEDY in the EARLY 21st CENTURY. IF LEAP YEAR, the FIRST ROM/COM RELEASED THIS YEAR, IS ANY INDICATION, the MOANING WILL CONTINUE in 2010...  
 
LEAPING OFF from the FAR-FROM-ORIGINAL CONCEPT of a WOMAN on the VERGE of MARRIAGE WHO SUDDENLY DISCOVERS a FREE-SPIRITED NEW-COMER WHO MAY BE HER TRUE "MR. RIGHT," LEAP YEAR IS a RARE MIS-STEP for the USUALLY CHARMING AMY ADAMS. AND IT GARNERED HER SOME of the WORST REVIEWS SHE's EVER GOTTEN.
