You mean she's pretty?She is,but I thought we were passed that."That" means the Golden Age when Hollywood tried to trick us."That" also means the time not so long ago when they kept doing it,even though they knew we knew...or somethin'.Anyway,I wish she wasn't an actress based only on her looks.I know she's also a singer,but she became one after actin'.

Please,B.H.B.,don't think this is the door for another one of you speeches on why Hollywood sucks.

I don't see what the big deal is with Zooey Deschannel that she gets such high profile movie roles. Usually,Jim Carrey is the cherry and the movie is the pie.This time,he saves the day.

Although Zooey Deschannel's performance was average instead of bad,she still deserved a Razzie nom.,since she was in THE HAPENNIN' the same year.

I was quite happy how Yes Man was made.

The Plot was very reminiscent of the life changing events that occurred in 40 Year Old Virgin.
The sofisticated serious comedic tone was similar to Liar Liar

Carrey's performance was equal to his performance in Liar Liar.

Some of the The supporting cast weren't members of a comedy and appeared to be part of a drama following a friend with social withdrawel and static life routines, which should be familiar to most of the audience.
Despite the movies aim to expose the viewers imagination and emapthise with the characters, some of the situations I could'nt empathise with as they were completely unbelievable.

I felt Bruce Almighty was entertaining too.

So I don't think Jim Carrey's career should or will conclude any time soon, he is much older now and his movies a much less slack stick than his past performances. and more sofisticated, life orientated. He is evolving into a comedian actor opposed to a Comic actor. More thought and less cream pies.

This film is defitnely a renter but thats only cause after seeing Molly Hartley, The Happening and Semi-Pro I think my eyes deserve a little more then usual for a little while.

Zooey is a babe though
