How'bout this:The nominees for "Worst Picture Of The Decade" deserve that title,'cuz they were flops,but on they years they were only nominated for "Worst Picture",the other 4 nominees weren't all flops.

How did Robert Pattinson NOT get at least nominated for worst actor.  He's terrible, has no emotions, no facial expressions, NOTHING!  Dead   

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: Maybe you should have looked over our list of nominees more closely -- Pattinson was nominated, but we relegated him to Worst Supporting Actor (since his character is gone for half or more of the movie). This decision drove Twi-Hards nutz, but should please you and Pattinson Poo-Poo-ers everywhere...

He was up for Worst Supporting Actor, but lost to Bill Ray Cryus, riding his daugther's coattails.

The Jonas Bros? Paris Hilton? Please consider only real actors to make your awards more interesting.
It's a given that these clowns (and their pop movies) are always cheesy and guaranteed
to be a joke. I want to hear about viable actors that you think failed. 

BTW: My vote for Worst Picture of the Decade would've gone to Gigli.

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: Aren't you kinda belying your own argument when you choose GIGLI as Worst Picture of the Decade, since it stars another example of what you consider "non-actors," Jennifer Lopez??

I'm not sure I disagree with you. I too feel as if these individuals "steal" well deserved Razzies from notable actors and movie stars. . . . people who do it for a living, and aren't simply crossovers, celebrities, teen idols, etc. Problem is the line is very blurry. We're a junkyard dog protecting our turf - cinema - by gobbling up pretenders that climb over that fence into our domain. Especially those wearing pork chops around their neck like Paris Hilton.
 
I don't have HeadRazz's lines of demarcation memorized, but I do believe that one is drawn between movies that actually make it into a theatre, and those that go straight to DvD. Paris and her ilk often sink back into that mode, disappear from our theatres, and thus drop off our radar. So we can eventually "reward" those more notable individuals - the "actors" - for their missteps.
 
The fact is that Paris fired a shot across our bow with "The Hottie and the Nottie" and we had to sink her battleship.

The most effective way to make this wildly uninteresting would be to "consider only actors." Let us suppose for a moment that, say, Donald Trump had a major supporting role in a movie this year and stunk it up deliciously. Should we ignore that performance just because Jim Carrey turns in a performance that is also bad, but not as bad  because he does it for a living? 

Ostensibly, we are here to reward the worst movies and performances. There may be times when the voting membershp may stretch the boundries a bit to make a point, as we did a few years ago when George W. Bush was selected Worst Actor in a leading role for his appearance in Fahrenheit 911. I think most of us that cast that vote did so to make a relevant point....our country was being run by a retarted chimp. But the bottom line for me is that I, for one, am not going to ignore a Razzie-worthy performance just because it is turned in my someone who doesn't happen to have a SAG card in his/her wallet.

Once again, another great point by saturnwatcher. As I said myself, giving non-acting celebrities Razzies is a way of telling them "stick to your day jobs". Look at Kim Kardashian. After getting a nod for "Disaster Movie," she hasn't starred in any movie since. Could it be we helped her get a clue??
