Couldn't moviewizeguy just say "it lacked cliches", since that is, you know...a real sentence?

An MWG post ... making sense? Impossible! One shouldn't read his entire posts, because one's head will explode from trying to make sense of them!

Heck, I can be excessively long winded at times, but even with my joy at reading my own words, I'll bet I could have made whatever point you were trying to convey in 2 or three sentences.

Well, House of Wax is being "mistreated" because:

1. It stars Paris Hilton.

2. It also sucked.

Exactly! It's not that good, but the fact Paris was in it(she wasn't the star like you said) has always been the main reason people say it sucks.

A few weeks ago, when I gave a 6/10 to CRAZY HEART, and noticed it had 90%, I thought "Sure, why not?". Then I read the concensus, and it said that the only reason it is good is Jeff Bridges. Wrong!

A movie's quality can't be measured on one aspect.

Actually, most people admitted they went to see the movie just to see Paris Hilton die, and then they left.

After closer examination, I see that most of moviewizeguy's lengthy post defending HOW was, in fact, written by an unidentified author -- and presented without proper citation...which borders on plagiarism.

Isn't that the reason why I said I had a "brain fart" earlier?

Didn't I just say that in my previous post? All you did was restate what I stated earlier. I clearly stated that I'm going to post a review written by SOMEBODY else, which meant it wasn't written by me. How more clear can I get? Here's the sentence that that I posted that you seemingly ignored: "And if you continued reading, you would know that the following paragraphs were by someone else."

This discussion can be repetitive, unless you actually read my posts toward you.

Which makes any discussion with you and saturn void because you guys aren't willing to do anything, lazy pricks! And you think I'm the only person having a hard time trying to make sense of you two's posts? My posts are clear-cut compared to your's.

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: I am amused that this whole back-and-forth about a movie released several years ago is getting odder (and hotter) by the minute.

As a simple guideline, let's all try and restrain ourselves from calling one another "lazy pricks" -- and save our vitriol for Mizz Hilton and/or her film...

Not really. They stayed until the rest of the movie since the last 20 minutes of the film is superb.

Yo, moviewizeguy -- maybe you should wait until your "brain fart" is done before you post anything?

Oh yes, saturn and I are just so "lazy" because we don't go around posting quotes from one or two people who have the same opinion as us, and use it as an excuse to convince everyone else to change their opinion of the movie in question.

No dude -- your posts are FAR from making sense, what with your inability to know what a good movie is and your constant "brain farts" -- I.E. your usual "hey-this-guy-agrees-with-my-opinion-about-this-movie-being-"good"-so-if-there's-at-least-one-person-out-there-in-the-world-who-agrees-with-me-then-all-you-people-who-claim-this-movie-is-bad-are-wrong" trick.

"Most people stayed until the rest of the movie since the last 20 minutes of the film is superb." REALLY? Then I guess the movie-going habits of your area of the country and my area of the country are polar opposites of each other. Because I swear, I was at a theater during a showing of this movie, and people were flooding out by the dozens, all saying once Paris was dead, there was no need to see the rest of the movie!

Moviewizeguy -- Why do you say bulls*** like how great this movie was? Seriously, no movie in the past 30 years can top the truly slow-burning, nerve-racking, horror and thriller classics of old like "The Shining". Even if it was looked down upon at the time of it's release, it is a masterpiece compared to the three decades of s*** that the slasher subgenre has created.
