You know, this film might be an allegory of his career. 'Jill' represents the part of Adam Sandler that does all of the horrible movies that he does. 'Jack' represents the part of Sandler that hates the horrible movies that he does and wishes he could do more movies like Punch-Drunk-Love or The Wedding Singer. When 'Jack' sees his 'Jill' persona (I.E. when he does all of those horrid films) he is embarrassed by them. However eventually, through spending more time with 'Jill' (I.E. making tons of money off of the horrible movies) he comes to accept 'Jill'.  That's my two cents.

Maybe it won't stay at 0%, but it's still clearly among the worst reviewed movies of the year... and maybe the decade! While this year there aren't many movies that seem to be the surefire nominees for Worst Picture, this one is, especially because it'll still be fresh in everybody's minds when the Nominating Ballots come out. 

By the way, R.T. users have been trashing those positive reviews.

I'm pretty sure that most of the people who trash the positive reviews, haven't actually seen the film (keeping in mind that the audience for this film is probably ten and younger). Not that it looks good (looks terrible and I have no interest in seeing it). Of course I've also seen some guy defend Michael A Smith's review.

I just wanted to inform the good people of the Razzies that this film made $9 million last night, and is projected to make 26 million for the weekend. Good day all.

PS: That probably makes it a hit. Seeing as it was projected not to make anything higher than 25 million, which also proves that most family films are critic proof (as are Sandler's films, of course).

I have a strong feeling that South Park is going to do an episode about how bad this is, and how stupid audiences are.
 
Also, does anyone else find it hilarious that a lot of people first heard of this movie from South Park?

Head Razz, I tried to get a ticket for this yesterday, but MovieTickets.com kept overloading. BUT I do have a ticket for the 915 AM showing at The Grove...If you hear nothing from me within 24 hours, check the emergency rooms...

You could argue the same thing about Sandler's other films, but they keep making money both in America, and oversees.

I may be wrong, but I think South Park only makes fun of specific celebrities and their careers. As for specific movies,  they only do so when it's something more trancendant. You see, a movie like this can happen every day (it has happened), but... say... INDY 4. While the concensus is that it's a good movie, they made fun because it dissapointed the fanbase.

Reading through this forum is indeed highly entertaining. Seems like Sandler will stay as my choice for Worst Actor.  
 
I was annoyed by Lautner's performance in Abduction. In fact, I was annoyed by a lot of performances this year. But I am now beyond annoyed by Sandler. I read a review about Sandler's acting, which said "Looks like Sandler isn't even trying any more," and I agree with that. If he actually is trying, it doesn't show. So one point for Lautner for at least attempting to act.  

I have yet to see JACK & JILL, and am having a hard time finding the strength to do so!
