My only pick is Megan Fox in PASSION PLAY. There's also Rachel Nichols in CONAN (if she's not listed as supporting) and Martin Lawrence in BIG MOMMAS (I'm still confused on the cross-gender nomination rules).
RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: This year, for the first time in our three-decades-plus history, we actually have three potential "cross-gender" choices for Worst Actress: The most obvious one is, of course, Adam Sandler as "Jill" in JACK & JILL (Forum LINK) but Martin Lawrence in BIG MOMMAS #3 (Forum LINK) and Tyler Perry in MADEA'S BIG HAPPY FAMILY (Forum LINK) are also possibilities. Which of them make the Nominating Ballot will depend, in part, on how many other "actual females" qualify for inclusion this year... |

Elizabeth Hartman and Judith Barsi are much more talented and beautiful than Scarlett Johansson and Chloe Grace Moretz. Fact. |

Here are my suggestions:
Jordana Beatty* for Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer Ginnifer Goodwin* (my front-runner) for Something Borrowed Vanessa Hudgens for Sucker Punch and Beastly Hayden Panettiere for Hoodwinked Too!: Hood vs. Evil Sarah Jessica Parker** for I Don't Know How She Does It and New Year's Eve To oiram: 5 suggestions for New Year's Eve for Worst Actress? Why don't you just suggest it for Worst Ensemble Cast? *I'm not familiar with the casts of these two films. I can't remember where I found the cast list, only that I just picked the first actress listed. **This is mostly to get a nomination for I Don't Know How She Does It. |

I would personally put Emma Roberts in supporting...
I've seen THE ART OF GETTING BY and the only lead in that movie is Freddie Highmore..... |

VITS: I thought you knew me better than that. The approval rating was merely average, and I don't want ANY average or well reviewed movies to be nominated for the RAZZIES! Not much of a better idea. Although it got negative reviews, it was neither released widely nor given an official forum here. Trespass got that forum instead on Oct. 14. No, I haven't. Does that disqualify my vote or something?

Well, yeah. I mean, I think you should you have to choose your contenders from movies you've seen, not just take a guess.

I DID choose those. If I were guessing at which ones would win, you would've seen Jack & Jill for Adam Sandler under my 5 nominations. I expect to receive a voting membership for Christmas, so if I would've submitted those 5 nominations, but it was revealed from this topic that I hadn't seen those two films, I'm sure my vote would still get counted because the membership fee was paid and I submitted my nominations by the due date... right?
EDIT: I realized now that when you said "guess", you meant "at who the lead actress is". I reread the cast list to refresh my memory of those two films, and it's my understanding that Ginnifer Goodwin is the lead actress in Something Borrowed, not Kate Hudson. And Jordana Beatty plays Judy Moody; it's not Heather Graham, who I'd seen about 2 suggestions for Graham for Worst Actress. If there's anything amiss, it's that I was convinced every film was limited to one lead per gender.

I meant that your picks have to be performances you actually saw, and not guessing which ones deserve the Razzie.

If there's a hard-written rule that says "You must have seen films you vote for or else said votes will not be counted", either you or HeadRAZZ should direct me to it (How would it be enforced effectively and efficiently anyway?). Otherwise, I'm still going to cast my votes as I've described over this past year. I've seen a few bits and pieces of most of the 35+ films I'd like to see get RAZZed this year. But again, how am I supposed to authenticate that I've seen more of them than that?
RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: Let me clear up this matter once and for all -- Precisely because there is no way to have it "be enforced effectively and efficiently," we do not have any rules requiring our Voting Member to "prove" they've seen what they are voting for. Obviously, we'd prefer to have them take the time to see what's being RAZZed, but in all honesty, we have no way of "proving" or "enforcing" such a rule. I myself do go out of my way to try and see everything that ends up being nominated, so I can discuss this drek "intelligently." I should also point out that, other than in specific categories (Best Documentary and Best Foreign Film among them) where only those attending screenings are allowed to cast ballots, the Academy also has no proof that its membership has seen the films to which they are handing out Little Gold Naked Men... |

Obviously I nor HeadRAZZ can make you "prove" that you've seen the movies you're voting for. But I think it's not really fair if you vote without doing so.

My picks are, and some of you may have to agree with me on this:
Rosie Huntington-Whitely (Trannies 3: Dark of Mooning People) Rachel Nichols (Conan O'Barbarian (2011)) Adam Sandler (Jack and Jill) Amanda Seyfred (Red Riding in the Hood) Kristen Stewart (Twilight: Breaking Farts) What do you guys think? RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: I think Whitely should be considered a Worst Supporting Actress contender, as should maybe Nichols. As for Seyfried, from my personal perspective, I considered the script, direction and both younger male leads to be ridiculous in that film, but I did not find Seyfried especially "to blame" for RIDING HOOD's short-comings... |
