ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH

   When you make an animated movie, you need to do more than just make silly jokes that will keep the kiddies quiet. You need to make it clever, charming, and lovable. Of course they don’t always do that and instead take the easy route, farts and such. Escape from Planet Earth looks like it is dangerously close to that kind of animated movie.

The trailer just screams “we put little thought in this and we’re just trying to cash in.” It doesn’t help that the voice cast comprises mainly of people that either have been nominated for and/or won a Razzie, or have been enough **** that they really deserve a Razzie. Two of the writers of this movie also did the Hoodwinked films (Personally speaking, I really liked the first one, but it was obviously downhill from there.) Every joke I feel has been done before, and possibly better. I just do not see this working out, and I wonder if anyone else will.

	Elizabeth Hartman and Judith Barsi are much more talented and beautiful than Scarlett Johansson and Chloe Grace Moretz. Fact.

	Hmm... Seems this isn't being pre-screened for critics. I smell a stinker on our hands (not that we've got currently 3 perennial stinkers on our hands at the moment).
