Explanations???

I did explain in the other forum that the IMDB polls have little merit. A lot of times their picks are either wrong ( Such as earlier this year William Hurt in a History of Violence being on the Worst Supporting actor list, to be fair he was also on the Best Supporting Actor list, he didn't make the top ten in either though, and he was just nominated for an Oscar for that film) or some times ( Actually more often than not) they vote for people they don't like out of spite. Such as in 2003 Colin Farrell made the top five for Worst Supporting actor for Daredevil, Farrell gave the only good performance in that film and this is actually one of the few occasions where an MTV movie award nomination ( In his case, for Best Villain) would cancel something out. My honest opinion of War of the Worlds, was that I was very dissapointed, because I'm a huge fan of Minority Report ( Which I thought Cruise was great in), and I had my expectations too high. But Cruise did not give the worst performance of the year. 

PS: I live in South Florida , not South Africa , I'm American. ( This is a serious question) Does that make you like me less? I hope not
