Cool that ol' HeadRAZZberry would take the time to recommend so many resources by OTHERS. On the same subject, check out this OTHER topic I just found elsewhere on the FORUM:

Okay, sometimes even I disagree w/our Member's choices! Case in point: 1987, when Bill Cosby in the admittedly sucky LEONARD: PART 6 beat out the wonderfully mannequin-like Ryan O'Neal in TOUGH GUYS DON'T DANCE. Even though DON'T DANCE did "win" Worst Director for Norman Mailer, I still say O'Neal was more deserving of The Thucky Thespian Dis-Honors!!!

Although I agree with nominating Ben "New Movie Each Month" Stiller for Worst Actor This Year. I disagreed with one of the five titles he was nominated for;

ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY his "role" was just a cameo!

MEET THE FOCKERS  should have been the fifth title he was nominated for.

I actually liked Stiller in DODGEBALL and ANCHORMAN, although I agree about ENVY...

On the subject of Ben Stiller's Worst Actor nomination for 2004: Our point was that he was in SO MANY MEDIOCRE (OR WORSE) MOVIES ALL IN ONE YEAR. I suppose I COULD have arbitrarilly included MEET THE FOCKERS in the list, but since he didn't get enough votes from RAZZIE® Members for that title to justify adding it, I followed our voters' wishes... And in the end, Stiller ended up toward the back of the field in final balloting for Worst Actor ...

I actually like Kristy McNichol's performance in TWO MOON JUNCTION, and I'm baffled over how she "won" Worst Supporting Actress for it. Was it perhaps a make-up prize after she "lost" for THE PRIATE MOVIE??

This is the worst year for Razzie decisions, George Bush winning worst actor, really stupid.

Worst Picture: Alexander instead of Catwoman

Worst Actor: Ben Affleck instead of George Bush

Worst Actress: any except Halle Berry

Worst Supp actor: Lambert Wilson

Worst Supporting Actress: Sharon Stone

I AGREE: George Bush IS "really stupid" -- and that's why we "won" (and deserved) our Worst Actor award for 2004...

I'm with Mr. "lots of 1's and a 9" re. his categories...how Sharon "Cartoon Chest" Stone DIDN'T win Worst Sup. Actress (Britney wasn't on-screen LONG enough to give as bad a "performance") is a TRAVESTY!!!  As for George W., the problem with him "winning" was that he WASN'T acting (unfortunately)!

NOT ACTING! He did nothing but act. Act like he knew what he was doing. Act like he's intelligent. Act like he was funny. And as the Razzie award shows, his performance sucked.

I wonder if his dad taught him how to act?

Why didn't Hilary Duff get a Razzie nod for THE LIZZIE McGUIRE MOVIE??

Is there a place where you list the nominations? All I could find were the winners. So, I don't know how you treated a movie so astoundingly bad, I'm surprised it can't be found anywhere in the site.

I'm referring to 1993's _Boxing Helena_. Maybe most of you were spared this torture, and so did something far more productive than me during those two hours, like over-feeding goldfish or straightening out used kleenex. No, it didn't get the press or the $$$ that _Indecent Proposal_ got, but at least ID didn't end up w/ Woody Harrelson waking up & realizing "It was all a dream!" (The worst teacher I ever had, Mrs. Costello in 7th grade, even _she_ said "I'm not taking any stories that end with 'I woke up & it was all a dream!'")

Indeed, the film seemed to come from some morbid 7th-grader's imagination, and the performers did what they could to 'live up' to it, which is basically sleep-walking through their lines. It's not even a "fun" bad, it's a just a tortuous jaunt through Jennifer Lynch's pathetic attempts at intellectualism. Nothing's worse that watching someone desperately try to say something profound, and what they come up with would bore a ten-year old.

Dear Dave:

Don't worry, BOXING HELENA did NOT escape un-RAZZed.   Jennifer Chambers Lynch "won" our Worst Director RAZZIE® for 1993, beating out Uli Edel for BODY OF EVIDENCE, Adrian Lynne for INDECENT PROPOSAL, John McTiernan for LAST ACTION HERO and Philip Noyce for SLIVER. Here's a LINK to The Official RAZZIE® Awards Web Site (Main Page: www.razzies.com ) to read the complete list of Nominees for The 14th Annual RAZZIES®:

I'm still somewhat peeved that Ah-Nuld Schwarzenegger in AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAZE didn't get the Worst Supporting Actor Razzie earlier this year! This was supposed to be his year, the year when Austria's most awful actor FINALLY "won" a Razzie for his "acting". (And not just this year's special Worst Razzie Loser of Our First 25 Years.) He deserved it WAY more than Donald Rumsfeld in my opinion. (Not to say anything positive about Rumsfeld, mind you.) I just really wanted Arnie to "win" much more.

Okay, I finally got that off my chest.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled postings already in progress. This posting has been brought to you by BooBerry inc. "Your un-offical source for bad movie news and such, here on Razzies.com."

It's a bleak world when Laurence Olivier, Faye Dunaway, and Marlon Brando all have RAZZies and Ah-nuld doesn't.

Actually, Ah-Nuld DUZ finally have a RAZZIE® -- He "won" at this year's Gala 25th Annual RAZZIES® in our special "Worst RAZZIE® Loser of Our First 25 Years" category, for having racked up the Berry Most Nominations without having yet "won" one (his total, including his Worst Loser nod, is now 9 Nominations!!) ...

To see what all The Uber-Nator has been RAZZIE®-nominated for over the years, check out his Awards Page at The IMDb... (They list Awards alphabetically, so you will have to SCROLL DOWN to RAZZIE®  to find the info...)
