Vits, I agreed with what she said. The Beaver is a really great film that got overlooked in the past year.

I liked The Beaver too. It would have done better if Mel wasn't such a horrible person IRL.

Here are this week's top stories: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/hercules_in_new_york/news/1924605/weekly_ketchup_dwayne_johnson_may_be_hercules/

The thought of Dwayne Johnson playing Hercules seems almost as sickening as Lou Ferrigno playing Hercules (which he got a Razzie for doing).  Warner Brothers has announced a live action adaptation of Tite Kubo's hit manga, "Bleach", but that's not the worst news.  Disney has asked Razzie-winner Ehren Kruger to write the screenplay for their upcoming Matterhorn movie.  Any interest I have in that film has completely dissolved.

Voting for my Methane Movie Awards has closed.  Here are the results: http://www.misterpoll.com/polls/547075/results

The Razzie nominees are announced tonight.  Once they're announced, we will know who makes the cut and who gets cut.

Actually, I meant that Jodie Foster was a badass for doing that. Despite winning the Vits Award for Best Movie Performance, I didn't like THE BEAVER overall.

Also, will the nominations be announced on Twitter as well? I mean, like other awards do where they tweet one category at a time live from the press release?

Edit: I guess not.

I'm sure HeadRAZZ will create a forum to talk about the nominations, so we should all wait before speaking. 'Cuz I've got a whole lotta things to dump!

My votes agreed with the final nominees 54% of the time. That percentage probably would be higher if Bucky Larson came out in time for me to vote on it. The only nomination I disagree with is James Franco because he was the only character in Your Highness that I didn't want to murder brutally.

Wow!  Adam Sandler has received 11 nominations this year as an actor, writer, and producer.  "Jack and Jill" leads the pack with 12 nominations.  Bucky Larson has 6, while Transformers 3 and Breaking Dawn Part 1 each have 8.  New Year's Eve is left with 5.  Among those cut from the ballot are "Green Lantern", "Passion Play", "The Green Hornet", "Red Riding Hood", "Conan the Barbarian", "The Three Musketeers", Julie Christie, Gary Oldman, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-wrecked", "Atlas Shrugged: Part 1", "The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence)", and "The Smurfs".

Yes, and peoples' reaction to Sandler's nominations is: Clap

Hopefully he'll get what's coming to him.

I got some free movie tickets. Last night I went to see THE ARTIST, and this morning I went to see HUGO. The only Best Picture nominees I haven't seen are THE TREE OF LIFE and EXTREMELY LOUD.

For the first time in years, none of the nominees got 5 stars from me. So my pick would be THE DESCENDANTS, with THE ARTIST in second place. But I fear that the latter will win for the wrong reasons.

Last year, it really wasn't clear which movie was going to win. This year it is, but a lot of the other categories aren't clear. We know they all have been narrowed down to 2, but it's still unclear. I'm glad.

Sandler doesn't care. He's laughing his way to the bank.
