That actually sounds pretty interesting. Really crappy that it was forced to get canned, though. I would have like to see it, if the movie had been made.

Elizabeth Hartman and Judith Barsi are more talented and beautiful than Scarlett Johansson and Chloe Grace Moretz. Fact.

Worst Supporting Actor: Brendan Fraser/Gimme Shelter and The Nut Job

My apologies for my late entry into this conversation, but the Lone Ranger teaser left me with 2 distinct impressions:

1. A film is probably in some trouble when the 2 principle characters are virtual no-shows in the trailer

2. The heavy emphasis on trains and ultimately a wrecked one are probably extremely appropriate. This project has "train wreck" written all over it.

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: I added a Main Page LINK to the LONE RANGER teaser on YouTube earlier today -- My take: It looks alarmingly/unfortunately similar to our 1999 Worst Picture "winner" WILD WILD WEST...

Oiram, if you don't have Kate "WORST Actress of the past decade" Hudson on your ballot at this point, it's clear you just don't GET it; explain to us how Jennifer Lawrence, Anna Kendrick, and Elizabeth Banks (to name just three) are WORSE than the "star" of a movie w/a 4% RT rating and a domestic BO gross of $15,000 (yes, that's 15 THOUSAND!) in its ENTIRE run...

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: Though you don't actually name the film for which you personally consider Hudson this year's Worst Actress front-runner, I assume you mean A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN? Here's an R.T. LINK to read reviews, and a B.O. MoJo LINK to confirm the piddling grosses mentioned above. While the film is included in our 2012 Releases List (and is thus eligible) your problem is going to be that (as those grosses testify) almost no one has actually seen it...

FYC: WORST Acting Performances of 2014 include: Johnny Depp (X2), Kevin Costner (X3), Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Seth MacFartlane, Sandler (X3), Rob Reiner, Dan Aykroyd (X2), and YES Diane Keaton!

I just went to the movies. I know I was supposed to see THE EXPENDABLES 2, but I had to see "360" because of a promise.

For your consideration: Worst Remake or Rip-Off, because: A) It's loosely based on the play LA RONDE. B) While there are many hyper-linked movies, this one directly rips-off BABEL (and maybe CRASH) for having multiple languages. And since it was directed by Fernando Meirelles and written by Peter Morgan, I guess it also rips-off CITY OF GOD and HEREAFTER, to some extent.

Oiram: Just to clarify, is your posted list above what you think the Nominating Ballot will include, or what you'd like to see considered??

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: Oiram -- I honestly don't see much point in your spending time essentially "second-guessing" what my eventual choices might be. I'd be more interested (and would find it more useful information) to see what YOU think should be included on our Nominating Ballot...

I knew THAT'S MY BOY would be chosen as the Worst New DVD of the Week. Just in case you're interested, the documentary 2016: OBAMA'S AMERICA is also available.

Well, the list of contenders I posted earlier woud not change much if it were my own opinions, except John Carter, Joyful Noise, and Savages would not be on there. Plus, films like This Means War, LOL, Lucky One, and Little Bit of Heaven (so Larch would stop harping on my ass about it.) would also be on the list somewhere.

Oh, and since I'm here: Trailer for the Carrie remake. I can already tell it is closer to the original Stephen King book, but whether that makes it better than the 1977 version or not, we'll have to wait and see.

Oiram: You only got that kind of feedback because we all thought you were posting what you thought the ballots would more likely be, rather than stating your own opinion (which is the point of posting here).
