Well I don't know how you can be scared by a movie but...

It had plenty of blood, interesting set designs (gotta love that house) and the babysitter was a hottie.

Other than that I don't remember much, other than Melissa George has dimples on the small of her back

Most definitely hot. My imagination was in the gutter for that scene. Now about that babysitter...

This wuz just another DUMB HORROR MOVIE. And if you're gonna pick on DUMB HORROR MOVIES, there's lots of worse ones out this year: HOUSE OF WAX, ALONE IN THE DARK, BOOGEYMAN, etc. etc.

Why don't Bad Horror Movies (and there's like, DOZENS of 'em EVERY year!) have their OWN Razzie category?!?!  Just a thought...

I agree -- Worst Horror Movie would be an AWESOME idea for a new Razzie category! And it's not like you'd EVER run out of contenders!!

At least Amityville Horror had a hot girl. Then again I don't consider scrawny, flat chested Paris Hilton or airhead-with-more Saline-than-brains Tara Reid part of the female gender.

Hey there are still people dumb enough to buy pan and scan DVDs. Lately ALEXANDER and CONSTANTINE have been all checked out at my video store. Some people just aren't very bright.

FYI: For those eleven people who actually want to see this, I just checked on IMdB, and AMITYVILLE '05 will be out on DVD October 4, in both Full Screen & Widescreen editions...

Of COURSE I know what "Letterbox' means -- That's where I pick up my rental DVDs from Netflix. And as for AMITYVILLE, that's where I suggest getting the DVD of this Dawg!

Please, people, teach Hollywood to STOP making crud like this...DON'T BUY IT!

This movie was totally pointless for me, since I knew the whole story before I even went to the Multiplex. Thankfully, I went with my girl, so I spent the whole screening in you know what...hehe

I PERSONALLY THOUGHT THE MOVIE WAS AWESOME.  THEY COULD'VE DONE A LITTLE BETTER ON THE ACTORS WHO PORTRAYED THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS THOUGH.  IT'S DEFINITELY WORTH SEEING.

I completely forgot about the movie, except seeing the dimples on Melissa George's back.
