Hang on. I try to watch all types of movies, even if I know I probably won't like it. It has nothing to do with my age.
Yesterday I saw PERSONA(1966) and I didn't think I'd like it. I ended up givin'it 6/10.

Alright, I'm just saying that I don't see why a grown adult would want to see a movie that's being marketed directly to teenage girls, with both its genre and its star. But maybe that's just me...

It actually saddens to to think that at some point, I will almost certainly have to sit through this piece of crap, just because it seems destined to garner a nomination for Worst Actress, at the very least (and very possibly Worst Picture as well). I don't drink, but that will probably be a good reason to start.

No! It's because I like reviewin' movies.
There are tons of movies I haven't liked, regardless of their target audience (see my ratings at: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/user/812172/ratings). B.T.W., I just did the poll from the link at the homepage,and over 50% think Miley doesn't deserve a Razzie, and I agree. I haven't seen the movie, but this seems like a bad performance. However,nobody has said remotely that it was one of the worst ever. Miley had just decided to focus on her acting career, which means she can improve. And let's face it...there will always be voters that award teen sensations because they like to trash them, rather than fairly judge them. |

Miley will gain respect when she gets better roles in which she is able to show real acting ability. Right now, she's still relying on her Hannah Montana fame rather than skill.

She's still relying on it or It's still stuck with her? Making a new image and trying new roles are what she's doing to express herself -- Miley, not Hannah. That's what I think. Even if she is relying on it, what's wrong with that? At least she has become famous being Hannah.

Well, it's a double edged sword, really. If she sticks with Hannah Montana, she'll be typecast. If she becomes too edgy, she risks losing her teen fanbase. Either way, it's a no win situation...

She got famous by hitting the jackpot in the sperm lottery (being Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter). From there, someone just came up with an idea to market her. She isn't a remarkable talent, neither musically nor as an actress.
I've said this before, but you could find an equally talented young woman in just about any high school in America...

I've read studies showing that teenagers who take "purity vows" are more likely to have oral and anal sex than those who don't take vows.
Granted, that has nothing to do with Miley Cyrus, but I'm sure we can blame it on her somehow!
