Sanity, Don't blame us for what Miguel says and thinks. May i point out that this is also a public voting system. So arn't you just being mad that the public voted it worse.
Thanks for making an attempt at articulating what you deem rangeless VH. But you seem to have described a dislike of some of her quirks and tics rather than anything else. Fair enough if you find them annoying but that is not all she brings to the roles, the girl is not without talent. She wasnt nervous on screen, as you described it, in The Runaways where she didnt display any of these things you find so offensive. Maybe she brings that awkward part of herself to some roles where its useful but alot of actors bring a part of themselves to roles but they still have range and ability.
Spyke I think we'll have to agree to disagree on the range of Kristen Stewart, youre going to see what you want to see and I'm going to see the truth. Honestly your 3D horror sounds interesting. I would give it a shot and not pre-judge, its not in my nature. Also, I am far from a disgruntled tween...but thanks for the compliment!!!
I had some problems with logging in just now so posted my previous post as a guest (vh). I am just pointing out that you can't call her a good actress if she always displays these nervous ticks. I've seen The Runaways and Rileys and in both of them she has these ticks. She can play every role she wants but as long as She remains so very twitchy, i will never see a performance on screen just Kirsten Stewart being Kirsten Stewart.
Do the tweens often come on the Razzie forum or is it a first?
To each their own, some like Twilight, some hate it. For something to be good someone must hate it. Live with it.
There was alot of controversy about New Moon beating Avatar at the MTV Movie Awards but still you won and you didnt see us bitching on your sites. Instead the media and critics alike backfired against it complaining that Avatar should have won, we didn't lash out. But you still didnt bitch at them.
And if you see the truth about her acting range then you are obviously blind. Stewart is good at playing Bella as Bella has little to no personality just like Stewart in every movie she's in.
And if you liked my 3D horror then you clearly have no taste in film. I'll chat to you in a few years time when 'TALKY Giffaffy and his Penguin Pals' Frat House Massacre 3D' is nominated for Worst Picture and your bitching about it. Stewart could play the lead but she will need to display something I call emotions.
Its interesting that you say that Vheid and I appreciate your honesty. But as I said, just because someone brings some of themselves to a role doesnt make them bad. So many actors do it. I could name so many. If anything it makes them more real and believeable because they are not fake in their delivery. Its like saying if someone has a lisp they cant be a good actress because thats all you'd see. Do you know what I mean? Give the girl a break. Maybe you just dont like her as an actress and thats fair enough...but it doesnt make her bad.
No I completly agree. I dont hate her I actually like Stewart but I still think she could do with some acting lessons and there were worst actressess in 2010 and Stallone's Worst Director spot as well as Eclipse's Worst Picture spot could have been filled with a little film I keep pointing out called Skyline which was by far the worst film of 2010.
Please tell me this, if no one is here to be cool, why exactly are you here?
Because it's a public forum for movie lovers and watchers to discuss lackluster movies. Believe it or not, not all people post in forums just be "cool". Frankly, I'm not sure how posting in a forum makes one "cool". Some, if not most people, just liking discussing topics of interests with other people who share those interests.
I'm not sure why you're here, except to be a troll who is all upset because "Twilight" is a Razzie front-runner this year. That's rather hard to debunk, considering you never bothered to post here before this day. All you're doing is proving the first half of my statement true; that "Twilight" fangirls (and maybe fanboys?) are going to come out of the woodwork, moaning and complaining that their beloved movie has a very real chance of being razzed.
If you don't like it, drop $25, become a Razzie member and vote for whatever movie you want.
The Four Horsemen of the Moviepocalypse: uncalled for sequels/remakes/reboots, 3-D surcharges, untalented "celebrities", and anything with Michael Bay's name attached to it.
Thanks for the laugh Spyke! I don't know where you got the notion that I'm a tween or that all Twilight fans are tweens! Its weird! Even if they were it doesnt make them less important and less valid an audience! I can't believe you've just brought up MTV awards! Honestly I couldnt tell you who won they were so long ago but apparently this is your oppportunity for revenge! I understand!
27years, it's funny that you mention the lisp. Just before you posted that i was already thinking of coming back with something like "You'll never see someone with a lisp play Hamlet". I will admit that i personally didn't nominate her and i won't vote for her. I don't hate/dislike her, i just find it a bit dificult to take her serious as an actress. Hope to see more of you on this forum 27years. I like people who think there arguments through.
Please don't focus on the spelling. I am typing this on my cell phone which makes this extra hard for me.
Because this is how I would get my ,,,, "revenge".
Really couldn't care less about the MTV Movie Awards but either you are blind or you just didn't understand what I wrote. I said we didn't go bitching when you won because we didn't care ... but the media and critics alike backfired against Twilight because of it ... Where did I put that I cared?
Only a tween/twihard (w/e) would troll and whine on a forum.
Wrong again about me being a tween. Seriously how many times do I have to tell you? Also I'm not bitching just bringing up a few points for discussion. If you didnt care about the MTV awards why bring it up?
So the Razzie nomination for Eclipse is "payback" for the MTV movie awards? Good to know. But I thought the Razzies held themselves up to be the antithesis of The Oscars? And if this is just another fan vote, why not open the voting up to the public instead of having a "pay to vote" system?
