HeadRAZZBerry, how come each year you keep creating forums like this, and this year you've created like 4? I'm not complaining, just curious...

My guess: it just makes his job easier when he has to list the nods on the voting ballots.

I mean he keeps creating this poll forums and they always start with "It won't actually affect the ballots".

I just wanted to make an observation here that I suggested in another thread, but I want Miguel to take a very close look. It appears to me that if the regular posters here are thinking along lines similar to HeadRazz, Twilight appear to have only 2 strong possibilities for nominations: Taylor Lautner for Worst Supporting Actor (splitting between 2 efforts) and Worst Ensemble cast, for which it has at best a decidedly darkhorse prospect of winning. That is curious because I was considering posting my own observation that if I were a Vegas handicapper placing an over/under line on how many times it would appear on the nominating ballot, I'd put it at 2.5. If I were a bettor wagering on that line, I'd bet the under. Sorry, Miguel, but as we have all tried to tell you, your vendetta truly is a personal one.

Come on, saturnwatcher, five of us listed Robert Pattinson for Worst Actor, too, albeit for both Remember Me and Twilight: Eclipse. Other than that, you're right I'm surprised not more listed Twilight: Eclipse for Worst Sequel/etc, though.
BTW, will you post your suggestions? HeadRAZZ needs to fill 12 slots in each category, and although, honestly, he doesn't need our help to do it, he's asked.

I notice a lot of people are listing 'Yogi Bear" before the movie is even released. Granted, it is yet another raping of one of my childhood memories, but shouldn't we wait until AFTER the movie is in theaters before we rip it a new a-hole?

You see in this filmmaking world there's two types of people my friend. Those with the knowledge of film and those who think they do but really don't.

I did over look the numerous Pattinson mentions, mea culpa. My own full list of suggestions is still in the works.

Are you ever gonna give it a rest? NEW MOON was nominated because it's the only one with bad reviews. The others have mixed reviews. If ECLIPSE does get nominated it would be in acting categories. Since you all hate the saga so much then do it the right way:Nominate Pattinson for "Actor" and "Supporting Actor".That way it would be right because he's the lead in REMEMBER ME and isn't in ECLIPSE,and also,he would get more nominations.
2)The whole point of turning "Screen Couple" into "Ensemble" is that:To not nominate movies for the lead plus anyone else,or someone and an object, rather than two people like it should be.

I would like to submit the movie Skyline for Razzie consideration in the Worst Film category. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a more tragic waste of film. I weep for the film industry if they seriously thought that it was a good movie!

I think Burlesque, Country Strong, The Tempest, and Yogi Bear could be upcoming Razzie contenders. But that's just a hunch, based ONLY on the trailers, so I didn't include them on my list.

I expect The Tempest to succeed, I'm not sure about Country Strong, Burlesque will probably fail, and Yogi Bear will crash. And if SKYLINE has enough panning, but not enough pedigree, on second thought I'll just add the forum myself. Same for Alpha and Omega. |
