My point exactly. Far from a masterpiece, but not a top Razzie contender either.
The Four Horsemen of the Moviepocalypse: uncalled for sequels/remakes/reboots, 3-D surcharges, untalented "celebrities", and anything with Michael Bay's name attached to it.

If i was looking for an airplane or naked gun type super hero parody, then i wouldve seen the critically trashed "super hero movie." So that wasnt what i was hoping for. There was just too big a conflict of styles. One second it was a realistic parody, the next a serious super hero drama that abandoned all realism (cough cough, jetpack with horrible greenscreen). They needed to have picked a style and stuck with it. As for the falling superhero scene, I saw the trailer too many times to find it funny anymore. Thats a problem with trailers. They often put the funniest scenes in them so they become unamusing when you actually see the movie.

What is a "realisitc parody"? Is it some word you just came up with to replace "satire"? And what's wrong with mixing styles and genres to make something new, like dramatic-comedies, action-comedies, sci-fi-thrillers, and the newest genre: sci-fi-westerns?

I actually loved Kick Ass. I respect your opinion, though.
Pictures move, do they?
