So it'll be about aging cops or something? Also, isn't Will Smith too young for the movie?

Worst use of a song in a trailer EVER!:

Elizabeth Hartman and Judith Barsi are much more talented and beautiful than Scarlett Johansson and Chloe Grace Moretz. Fact.

The folks at JoBlo -- But I'm sure those guys didn't come up with it, either. And that's the point: WILD WILD WEST has become a punchline for bad movie jokes.

From whom did you "steal" the joke?

Robert Rodriguez will produce a TV series based on FROM DUSK TILL DAWN. And Will Smith will star in a remake of THE WILD BUNCH. We all know what happened the last time he played a cowboy. OK, I admit it: I stole that joke.

I just saw THE LAST STAND. For your consideration: Worst Supp. Actor for Peter Stormare (also for HANSEL GRETEL).

Seth Grahame-Smith (DARK SHADOWS and ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER) is writing a remake of GREMLINS. I saw the original GREMLINS (and the sequel) a few weeks ago. I liked them, but the sequel made it clear that the concept could only truly work once. Besides, I'm sure they're gonna use CGI this time, rather than animatronics.

Or maybe it will end up with Fast Five numbers.

May I quickly point out that Fast & Furious 6 has taken off to a decent start on RT, and is currently at 100%. But it will most likely drop by 20-40% when it's released in the U.S.

Head Razz and everybody else on the Forum: Thank you so much for your support! I haven't felt so at home on a site since I joined Facebook. In which case, I will now probably be hanging around here more than Facebook...

Well I love looking back on critical years of the Razzies (like The Last Airbender receiving 5 Razzie awards was a major win for me as a movie goer). I am really passionate about films in general and I do think it is important to admit to the world "We make a lot of crap movies".

VITS, I noticed you posted about "After Earth". I was actually going to start a topic soon about M. Night (can't even spell his last name let alone pronounce it. So stay tuned everybody :)

Well, there goes the "but he didn't write it" argument I had.

Looking into it further, apparently there were many things not revealed until now. Will Smith is technically the man that came up with the story. Did the Fresh Prince ever have a movie writing credit before? M. Night Shyamalan wrote the screenplay with Gary Whitta, writer of Book of Eli. Stephen Gaghan was taking Shyamalan's credit for a while, but then it turns out that Gaghan only polished the script, and another thing I found out was that he wasn't alone in doing so. The script also had polishing from Mark Boal, writer of The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty. While a few of these writers have written good films, that does not change the fact that it went over how many writers are supposed to be on a film. Two is usually the magic number.

Hey, guys. When I saw a poster for AFTER EARTH here, I read the credits (yes, I'm that guy). M. Night Shyamalan was listed as a script writer. I went online to check it. It appears that he did co-write the script but they kept it a secret because they thought it would be bad publicity.
I'm still a fan of him, but I'm realistic. This news gives the movie more Razzie pedigree, right?
