The action in THOR 2 looks cool and all, but I just can't get that image out of my head -- You know, the one where THOR basically kidnaps the girl to his world. WHAT? Listen to what she says there.
LOL

And I was right!

Welp, figured this was going to happen sooner or later: Sequel to Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story in the works
Elizabeth Hartman and Judith Barsi are more talented and beautiful than Scarlett Johansson and Chloe Grace Moretz. Fact.

Worst Supporting Actor: Brendan Fraser/Gimme Shelter and The Nut Job

PAIN & GAIN's R.T. rating has been decreasing, but very slowly. Meanwhile, THE BIG WEDDING has no reviews. Both are indicators of them being bad movies. There should be a forum A.S.A.P. or there won't be time to make a second forum. Oh, and also IRON-MAN PART 3's R.T. rating has started off at 100%!

I'm not sure if the idea could work a second time. But considering the other sequels that have been announced lately, and the last couple of movies Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller have made, I'm labeling this as good news.

Can't really say about their talent (I've never even heard of the first 2). I think Moretz is prettier than Barsi, while Johansson and Hartman would be a tie.

UPDATE from Head RAZZberry: Hope to have a Members' Discussion up by tonight (WED. 4/24) on BIG WEDDING (which still has no reviews on RT yet). As for PAIN & GAIN, its current numbers at RT are around 55% positive -- and they've been trending UP, not down, all week long. So it looks unlikely that it will be our Bonus Worst pick. But I've compiled all the links and materials needed to post it as a last minute discussion subject, just in case...

UPDATE from Head RAZZberry: The Forum Discussion on BIG WEDDING is up -- Here's the LINK. Also, as of this morning (Thursday, April 25) the R.T. Rating on PAIN & GAIN is up to 67% (LINK) meaning it is not likely to be picked as Bonus Worst of the Weak...

Something odd has happened. There's only one new release here: IRON-MAN PART 3. I'm still going to ask what I should do... in case anyone tells me to stay at home.

MTV has greenlit a TV version of SCREAM (but fans are still wondering if there still will be a 5th installment). I don't know how I feel about this. Does anyone here watch TEEN WOLF? Is it good?

I am suprised that no one here has mentioned the anouncement of the cannes-selection earlier this week...

The 20 films showing in the main competition are...
* Inside Llewyn Davis  (the Coen Brothers)
* Only God Forgives  (Nicholas Winding Refn)
* Behind the Candelabra  (Stephen Soberbergh)
* Venus in Furs  (Roman Polanski)
* Nebraska  (Alexander Payne)
* Only Lovers Left Alive  (Jim Jarmusch)
* The Immigrant  (James Gray)
* The Past  (Asghar Farhadi)
* Straw Shield  (Takashi Miike)
* Borgman  (Alex van Warmerdam - One of my favorite Dutch directors)
* La Grande Bellezza  (Paolo Sorrentino)
* Jeune et Jolie  (Francios Ozon)
* Jimmy P. (Arnaud Desplechin)
* Blue is the Warmest Color (Abdellatif Kechiche)
* Like Father Like Son (Kore-eda Hirokazu)
* Heli (Amat Escalante)
* Grisgris (Mahamat-Saleh Haroun)
* A Touch of Sin (Jia Zhangke)
* Michael Kholhaas (Arnaud des Pallieres)
* A Chateau in Italy (Valeria Bruni-Tedeshi - president Sarkozy's ex-wife's sister)

Other films showing on the festival are Sundance-hit Fruitvale, Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring, James Franco's As I Lay Dying, Roman Polanski's never shown 1972 movie Weekend of a Champion, All is Lost starring Robert Redford, Blood Ties starring Milla Kunis and Clive Owen, Zulu starring Orlando Bloom and off course The Great Gatsby...

Any thoughts about it?

oiram, are all the nods for Identity Thief on your Razzie pool because of my little rant a few days ago? If so, that's awesome!
