Time to review the second worst Alex Pettyfer movie of the year.
The good:
Let's, err, just forget this category for now.
The bad:
NPH: Neal really let me down here. And he was in The Smurfs as well. If it helps him, I thought the Harold & Kumar 3 was funny.
The make-up: The make-up was pretty bad and laughable. Also, as ugly as he is, he could, probably, find a girl to love him at a rave. If they wanted him to be ugly, they should have made him an animal-monster.
The "blah" factor: Watching this was a bore. I couldn't get into this without getting near-comatose.
The ugly:
Vanessa Hudgens: Hudgens may be pretty, but, as anyone who's watched any of the High School Musical movies and/or Sucker Punch will tell you, she's not a very good actress. She has the facial expressions of a brick and the charisma too.
Mary-Kate Olsen: MK is alone here without Ashley. As Goth/witch, MK is very bad. She's annoying and her performance is just terrible.
Alex Pettyfer: This guy can go f*ck himself. Hudgens has more charisma than here. Hell, Nicolas Cage's acting this year is better than Alex Pettyfer's!
Unfortunately, Pettyfer is going to be in a movie that I was interested in seeing; In Time. Fortunately, it only appears to be a supporting role, so maybe it isn't doomed. Grade: D+
Next-up: I just started Priest, so that will be up in the morning or afternoon. I sleep late.

I agree with you about the so-called "ugly" factor. Even with all that crap on his face, the guy could have easily gotten with an emo or goth chick to fall for him. We have people walking around with dozens of facial piercings and full-body art all the time these days, so why would that stop him from meeting someone? And yeah, Vanessa is hot, but she needs to stick with posing nude, because that's all she has going for her.
But I must know, what stopped you for giving it a full "F", considering you couldn't think of anything good to say about it?

As bad as it was, it wasn't bad enough. It doesn't have the audience contempt that Season Of The Witch and Hoodwinked Too had.
Also, I'm midway through Priest and this is definitely a contender. I wonder if this will be Cam's year to win a Razzie?

Nominating this movie sounds like a mighty appealing idea now that several bad-looking films have pulled upsets. I think I have Vanessa Hudgens listed for Worst Supporting actress for this and Sucker Punch. I might add Neil Patrick Harris for Worst Supporting Actor for this and The Smurfs 3D if I have vacancies.
I seem to recall Vits telling us that HeadRAZZ didn't give this an official forum because this was released on March 4, and he was still reeling in the week following the 2010 RAZZIES, but I think this should probably get some nominations now.
