The six ballot worthy films for me at this point in time are: A Good Day to Die Hard, G.I. Joe 2, The Hangover 3, Movie 43, Scary Movie 5 and my current front-runner After Earth.... The rest either feel too minor and forgettable, or they feel like the kind of movie you would put on the ballot if there weren't any alternatives available.

And with bad movies like White House Down, TheLone Ranger (which could possibly dethrone After Earth as potential frontrunner), Grown Ups 2, The Smurfs 2, Only God Forgives (unless every critic in Cannes was wrong) and Planes (made by Disney's straight-to-video sequel-company as a way for disney to sell more Cars-related toys) still to come in the near future, it sure feels a bit early for a poll....

Why wouldn't it "belong" in the Razzies? I thought the only criteria was that a film had to be bad (and according to reviewers it IS)....

I just don't feel it fits in with the likes of Grown Ups 2, After Earth, A Good Day to Die Hard, Scary Movie 5, Movie 43 and InAPPropriate Comedy.

I wasn't saying that it was worthy of a ballot-space, I was just listing a couple of "bad" movies to be released in coming 2 months...

Am I also the only person who thinks that the Headrazz will only choose one movie from the Scary Movie5/Haunted House/InAPPropriate Comedy/Movie 43-quartet to put on the worst picture- ballot. Because of his unwritten "one movie per genre"-rule?

GTAhater, I asume you wouldn't want to see Gatsbyon the ballot...

Sometimes thats true, but I think in this case, he may make an exception. I believe Headrazz said he saw no reason to not have BOTH Movie 43 and InAPPropriate Comedy up for Worst Picture in the InAPPropriate Comedy forum. That indicates that those two films will most likely be on the Worst Picture list.

To oiram: It's not enough. As you might have already guessed, I also want a chance to nominate Scary Movie 5 for Worst Picture. But I guess I'll have to write it in.

By the way, you asked if I would be recommending Kate Winslet for Worst Actress for Movie 43 back in the winter. The answer is no, because I figured one acting nomination for all of them for Worst Ensemble Cast would be enough. How big is your objection to me not giving Winslet a stand-alone nomination?

To Vheid: You're damn right I don't want to see The Great Gatsby 2013 on the ballot. With a 5 out of 10 on both Rotten Tomatoes AND Metacritic, I can safely say it's a mere average-fest. Just how badly do you want it RAZZed?

GTAhater, I don't want it Razzed at all... I was just wondering because you left it out of your longlist (which contained every other movie with a forum on here, i believe).... I personally agree with you and would consider this a waste of ballot-space.

I said Supporting Actress, and I'm not angry over you not agreeing, but the reason I am for a stand alone nomination for her specifically is because before, the majority of the movies she starred in were well-received. She even won an Academy Award for Best Actress, so to now take part in a movie that is getting close to being considered one of the worst movies ever made, that is a hugh punch in the jugular in her career.
