My question is: Why are so many Oscar Contenders turning into Razzie Contenders? Perhaps it's because they're choosing to do a bad movie and not get paid well. Send me some your thoughts to why many Oscar Contenders are becoming Razzie Contenders.
The Mormons were'nt really popular in the beginning, they're now becoming more popular, even in Hollywood.

It's probably because most Oscar winners are sadly overrated.

Good actors - including some worthy Oscar winners - can make bad choices. I mean, Laurence Olivier was  generally considered to be one of the greatest actors of his generation, but it's hard to argue that his two Razzies weren't  as fully deserved as  the accolades for his far superior work.

Also, sometimes an Oscar winner has films in their past, when they were first struggling, that don't compare well... sometimes an actor continues to develop and learn and grow... and sometimes a recent winner will be embarrassed when the next movie to be released is one that they signed to do before the words 'potential Oscar winner' became attached to the winning role [Michael Caine going from "Hannah & Her Sisters" to "Jaws: The Revenge", or Eddie Murphy, a major contender for "Dreamgirls" this year, getting critical brickbats for the more predictable "Norbit"].

I still hold the theory of the "Oscar curse", once you win for an Oscar the next film you make will be razzie worthy.
