Have the Razzies ever been televised? I would love to see it if it was televised.
I hope no one takes offense at this, but I bet Comedy Central would air the Razzies.

Response from Head RAZZberry: We have actually negotiated with Comedy Central a number of times, and the stumbling block (as with every broadcast entity) is getting the rights to air clips from the nominees and "winners." Since Hollywood actively hates The RAZZIES, no studio is willing to let us show them in a commercial context...

Or how about a Razzies DVD? I'd love to see Halle Berry accepting  her award.

Response from Head RAZZberry: We actually have a http://www.razzies.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=355&PN=1 - LINK here on our site to view 7 Video Clips of Mizz Halle at our 25th Annual Ceremonies... http://www.razzies.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=355&PN=1 - CLICK HERE

In a way, Hollywood should be thankful for a forum like the Razzies.  It's movie fans like you who are trying to push Tinseltown to put out better movies.  It's just a shame they don't take your advice to heart.  I guess the ego factor is just too great for any of the schlock masters to take criticism.

The Razzies are to movies what political cartoonists are to politics. They provide constructive criticism in a humorous context. A sort of checks and balances system that, if unchecked, could easily go out of hand. If comedians weren't around to criticize Dubbya, more outrageous, civil rights violating policies would be enforced. Ever since the Patriot act and the NSA wiretapping news, the current administration would go on to invade our mail, Internet, etc.

Same goes for the Razzies: If it weren't for us and the critics, the studios would put out even more crappy movies!

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: So you think they haven't already intercepted our e-mails and snail mails???

If it looks like we might have the smallest germ of an idea to use for some seemingly grand film, of course they're going to call on their personal Eddie Valients and tell them to go for the throats while tricking the naive person out of their life's dream.  That's Hollywood, all right.

I would love to see the Razzies on TV too -- But I don't have cable, so more like on regular stations. I hoped it would happen by now because I think it's great! Will they be on tv?
