Last time I checked, HeadRazz, the release date has been pushed back until August 10. Something about not having two competing horror films in the same weekend: last time this happened was with the first horrible "Hostel" and the first "BloodRayne" back in January '06 (Even though this film was cheesy bad, I still wanted "BloodRayne" to do WAY better than "Hostel" in its opening weekend.)

This time it would've gone up against Lohan's "I Know Who Killed Me" (Lionsgate) and After Dark pulled it at the last minute.

Response from Head RAZZberry: I happened to TiVo the Sci-Fi Channel's Saturday night movie (ATOMIC TWISTER) this past weekend, and it included ads for SKINWALKERS, with the release date shown on-screen as "7-27-7." B.O. MoJo does now list SKINWAKLERS as being set for releasee on Friday, August 10 ( http://www.boxofficemojo.com/schedule/ - LINK ). Although ads on Sci-Fi are probably not that expensive to air, someone at After Dark Films certainly ought to be fired for this amusing error...

I saw one ad with the original 7-27-07 date as well. I don't think they took it off the air in time.

Rotten Tomatoes now lists Skinwalkers as an August 10th release. It will go up against Stardust and Rush Hour 3. I guess After Dark Films didn't want to put Skinwalkers up against The Simpsons Movie??

I know NOTHING about this movie, but the title itself is a bit Razzie-tastic!!!!!

This and 'Blood and Chocolate' should go head-to-head in a contest for which is a dumber werewolf movie. While we are at it, they should also compete for which title is worse!

Since when were werewolves scary? Not really ever. Why keep making sucky projects about teen ones?

Response from Head RAZZberry: Because the core going-to-the-movies-every-week audience is composed of about 85% teen-agers...

This looks like it'd be perfect for Mystery Science Theater 3000* Too bad they cancelled MST3K in 1999. They would've had a wide array of films now...

*For those who don't know what Mystery Science Theater 3000 is (alot of people don't) it was a sci-fi/comedy show about a guy and two robots who watch really bad sci-fi movies, and mock them throughout. MST3K was one of my Favorite shows, and it had one of the best theme songs. You can view MST3K at YouTube by entering "MST3K", or "Mystery Science Theater 3000"...

Response from Head RAZZberry: Their basic premise so perfectly dovetails with what the RAZZIE are all about, that I would guess about 95% of RAZZIE members are (or were) MST3K fans --  Here's a http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=MST3K&search=Search - DIRECT LINK to check out http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Mystery%20Science%20Theatre&search=Search - MST3K clips at YouTube...

I know! I was so ticked when they stopped airing reruns of MST3K! I've been getting the DVD's since (only got the essentials though). Yeah, the MST3K theme song was the best. It's my #1 theme song along with The Simpsons and (strangely) the theme from All My Children...

This movie looks like it should have been one of the trailers in "Grindhouse."

Plot: A 12 year old boy and his mother become the targets of two warring werewolf packs, each with different intentions and motives.

Now actually reading that, it sounds interesting and also a bit like Stardust.

Yo, moviewizguy: Sounds like you're defending this movie. Even I (as a longtime fan and defender of Stallone, and someone who's taken more than his share of abuse on this Forum) would NOT go there...

I'm not sure whether to admire your guts...or pity you for your lack of taste in movies!

YO: Quit Pickin' on Stallone!!

Well, I'm interested in movies with different perspectives or having things like people wanting something with different motives or three stories in one movie...like those sort of thing. It's like movies like Pulp Fiction and Stardust but whatever.
