The first XXX got a RAZZIE® Nomination or two. And this one doesn't even have Vin Diesel (though that's not necessarilly a bad thing!). So should XXX #2 be a Contender, too?!?!?  Discuss...DISS...what-EVER!

Ice Cube is too grumpy for being cool,, his hard-ass punch lines don't click...

That and the really bad speciall effects result in a bad film..

You'd think if your script wasn't even good enough to convince VIN DIESEL to make it, you'd figure there was a problem...But someone obviously thought this would make money. Were they right?!?!?  I DON'T THINK SO!

Apparently NOT -- according to Box Office MoJo, the "original" XXX in 2002 grossed $142,109,382. This http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=daily&id=xxx2.htm - Vin-Free "sequel" barely scared up $26 million. Looks like the public is tired of being played for suckers...at long last!

By the way, Box Office MoJo is a Berry Cool Site where you can find out box office, budget and other info on nearly every movie of the last 10 years or more. Wanna look something up? Here's the LINK:

In an article on the front page of today's L.A. Times (August 8, 2005) XXX #2 was used as one of the examples of how the "action genre" has fallen out of favor with movie-goers, and fallen on hard times at the box office. Other titles sited include THE ISLAND and STEALTH:

Okay, so it TANKED -- Cut this turkey some slack, folks! At least it starred the more like-able Ice Cube and NOT that bald-headed/bone-headed BOZO Vin Diesel!!!!!

How bad IS this one?? I just saw that it was ALREADY available for RENTAL from NETFLIX!!!!

I think I read in NEWSWEEK recently that one of the things Hollywood is considering as a means of pumping up sales is releasing movies in theatre and on DVD the SAME DAY -- XXX #2 is about as close to their trying that as I'm aware of!!!

My question: With something this obviously LOUSY, why didn't they save themselves MILLIONS and just release it DIRECT TO VIDEO???

I gotta, say this was one of the WORST movies I've EVER seen! I'm not sure even if Vin Diesel WAS in the movie, if it would make any diffrence...

Finally got my NETFLIX DVD of this... I guess it was supposed to be some kind of Black James Bond thing??? But it turned out STUPID , LOUD   WAY TOO LONG   and full of plot holes you could drive a Bullet Train thru (if you've seen it, you'll get the reference  )...

I just saw this and I have to say that this is the most unconvincing action movie I've ever seen. Having a beautiful blonde and another sexy, sophisticated black woman didn't help the romantic aspect of this. "Doughboy" from the 'hood is a horrible romantic interest with no chemistry even in the presence of extreme beauty!

With this and "Are We Done Yet?", Ice Cube, or as I like to call him now The Razzberry Dough Boy, is on a major losing streak.

I just saw it.

Man!There were some things right with the first one, like stunts rather than CGI,and they couldn't even copy that? That would've been unoriginal but at least it would've been a reason for me to look at the screen.

I didn't mind that much that they changed the rock soundtrack with hip-hop,and Ice Cube is decent, but if you forgot about the first movie when it was over, you'll forget about this one halfway through.I mean, the plot is basically the same you've seen in every spy movie, except boring.

I give it 0/10.
