Since this is obviously aimed at the 5-year-olds referred to above, and it apparently is successful with that audience, I'm not sure it belongs on any voting member's final list of 2009's worst -- unless we are planning to bring back the Worst Excuse for Family Entertainment category this year...

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: If we were going to do a Special Category for 2009 (and with 3 Worst of the Decade awards planned for our http://www.razzies.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=876&PN=1&TPN=1 - 30th Annual ceremonies already, we probably aren't) a better case could be made for dis-honoring Worst Teen-Targeted "Comedy," since that's the genre that has produced the most RAZZ-able titles this year...

It is a sad, sad day when this is the #1 movie in America. How did this avoid going to straight to DVD Hades?

When kids don't have any other choice, that's what they do... See the only movie available. And when Tracy Morgan's character on 30 Rock isn't getting him enough work or money, he does it elsewhere. It's always the same character, though.

I actually saw some plushies of the Guinea Pigs at Toys R Us the other day and they actually looked better than the characters in the actual movie. Now that's sad.

To hell with this "poop in his hand" movie!

At least you can take those plushies and light them on fire and stab thm and what not in order to take your anger towards the movie out.

For real... You can write a comedy for kids by just using the word poop a few times and you'll make money.

Also be sure to add a couple jokes about burping or farting, have a dog be the hero (bonus points if he can talk), make adults look dumber than kids, and then just sit back and watch the B.O. numbers go up.

Yep, I mean why else would adults not want their kids to eat paste, because it will make the kids smarted than them!

I did always used to love the imaginary war between kids and adults. And when you used to see a kid not have to eat a vegetable, and that made them a hero. Or when you pretended to like G-Force just to make your parents spend $10 to see it multiple times.

Yes, the goals that are set for the kids' post-war victory are usually small and unimportant, like not eating vegetables and staying up past 8PM.

Yes, the kids' world which is based entirely in playing video games, watching cartoons, and not much else.

And let's not forget, they have the evil cooties! What is a cootie? No one really knows, but no one wants to have them either.

It is too bad Walt really wasn't cryogenically frozen; if so, unthawing him would seem to be the only way to stop Iger's increasingly ludicrous live action failings, this being a prime case in point.  I also take this to mean John Lasseter only has control over Feature Animation, as he would be smart enough to say no to something like this (and we can assume Steve Jobs's recent health issues probably took him out of the picture during development, for he'd likely know better as well).

I pretty sure if Walt was brought back to life today and saw what his company has become, he would die all over again.

This movie deserves to be nominated for Worst Actor for Nicolas Cage alongside Know1ng. I couldn't decide if this was worse than The Ugly Truth (same release date) though. That means two live-action esque CGI rodent movies bombed hard this year. (The Squeakquel was the other)

Warning:I'm an adult.

I hate when this happens.A movie gets judged before it's release because of it's plot.I know spy guinea pigs is a silly concept, but the movie was semi-funny.Although,the fact that the villian turns good out pf practically nowhere ruined the endin',but still.

Here at the Razzies, being "semi-funny" doesn't redeem you from being an overall bad movie.

Who cares what role he was, the movie still sucked.
