A reasonable case could be made that nothing even remotely "original" was released in 2005. Listed here are The Baker's Dozen among '05 movies that openly admitted they weren't even trying to be "original." Based on Old TV Series, Old Movies or just plain OLD Ideas, these are what we consider The Lamest of the Lame. Below is your chance to ARGUE, APPLAUD...or ADD YOUR THOUGHTS & SUGGESTIONS...

Aren't moviegoers sick and tired of Adam Sandler? Who could possibly want to see his movies? He had one funny TV character on Saturday Night Live, Opera Man, and that was it. He hasn't done one other thing in his career that even comes close to it. He is as annoying as Jim Carrey and Jerry Lewis. Yuck!

Ditto Will Farrell.  Just another in a long line of ex-Saturday Night Live "comedians" who continue to show up in lousy movies. Remember the days when TV performers didn't always have an easy time making the transition to movies? Now the public doesn't seem to care about spending money seeing performers they used to see for free on TV.

Ditto Rob Schneider.

Ditto ANYBODY from Saturday Night Dead. Has Ackroyd made a funny
movie since Ghostbusters? Has Eddie Murphy been funny since Trading
Places? Has Chevy Chase ever made a good movie? Has Steve Martin
been funny since Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid? Let's not forget the long
line of RAZZIE contenders these idiots made like It's Pat, Joe Dirt, Austin
Powers, Ladies Man, Night At The Roxy, Haunted Mansion, Cops and
Robbersons, Sgt. Bilko, Twilight Zone, One Trick Pony, Continental Divide,
The Man With Two Brains, Beverly Hills Ninja, The Animal, Deal of the
Century, Foul Play, Haunted Honeymoon, How to Beat the High Cost of
Living, Pluto Nash, Modern Problems, Vegas Vacation, Tommy Boy, The
Karate Dog, Snow Day, Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Fletch, Funny Farm,
Oh Heavenly Dog, Three Amigos, Christmas with the Kranks, Earth Vs the
Spider, Blues Bros 2000, Coneheads, Nothing But Trouble, Dragnet, My
Stepmother is an Alien, Mondo Video, Doctor Detroit, Cheaper by the
Dozen, Roxanne, L A Story, Leap of Faith, All of Me, Sgt Pepper's Lonely
Hearts Club Band, Pennies From Heaven, Perfect, oh need I go on?

What about xXx: State of the Union. I guess it was SO crappy that nobody wants mention it anywhere, EVEN the Razzies.

I'm not sure if this will embarrass or please D.G-Reaper from above, but...XXX: STATE OF THE UNION is listed in the poll. Since the titles are listed alphabetically, it came in last...

And now, D.G-Reaper, you may have the "honor" of Casting The First Vote for It (since no one else has chosen it yet)...

Anyone want to add this piece of tripe a few years back called Stuart Saves His Family (I believe it was 1995)???

I was one of the unfortunate ones to review that movie and totally ripped it a new one from start to far as asking for my money back for having my intelligence insulted... To make matters worse...there were ten people ahead of me requesting the same...

SNL hasn't been funny since Belushi died and that went with the movies that followed them to the demise of their overspent careers...

My pal actually fell asleep during "War of the worlds". (True!) I initially didn't have the heart to wake him up, but was forced to do so as he started snoring!

Guess which one got my vote?

Be strong - be wrong!

As for Saturday Night Live, I vote for the ladies, especially Nora Dunn and Molly Shannon. They were funny and created memorable characters on the show. But sketch comedy performers rarely are any good when having to carry a 90+ minute film.

How could you NOT mention ALONE IN THE DARK???

It's a remake of a video game!!!!! The results would be completely different if that movie was on the poll. AITD is so awful i don't think it even got released in the UK!!!

How come nobody has thought of adding Star Wars to the poll? That deserves the award for worst dialogue at least
