Queen of Toad: I don't tend to like most of the men the media say are "attractive". However, there are a few of the actors that have been labelled "hunks" that I find OK. I have noticed I tend to focus on men's eyes, and whether they are expressive. Personality tends to help with that. The rest is completely secondary.

I don't really like Brad Pitt, Leonardo Di Caprio and all the other supposed "gods", but someone like Johnny Depp is "OK", in my book, as he has talent. I tend to "fall in love" with particular actors, regardless of their looks, by seeing them play certain scenes or characters with incredible emotion and finesse. For example, I fell in love with Anthony Hopkins when I saw the "book" scene in Remains of the Day: the way in which he manages to look like he's melting inside as Thompson's character wrestles the book from his hands just got to me. Hopkins, even though most widely known for portraying a psychopath, is one of the few actors who can portray tenderness in such intense and moving ways.

How bout Tobey Maguire and James Franco? You guys should consider these two as hunks, alright. Both are known for starring in those SPIDER-MAN movies, including the third one coming out next year.

I don't like either of them.  Tobey Maguire is wimpy looking and James Franco is funny looking.  James Franco actually looks somewhat attractive in Tristan & Isolde but not enough to catch my attention.

HeadRazz, I can understand you not liking Depp's Willy Wonka, but I thought he did fine in the Pirates sequel. Maybe not worthy of appearing on the Oscar ballot for the second time as the character, but certainly not worthy of being on the Razzie nominating ballot for the second year in a row.

Response from Head RAZZberry: Who said anything about Depp being on our nominating ballot for PIRATES 2??  Though I would argue, and sadly, that this was the first time Depp could ever be accused of doing something solely for the money, and it showed through in the performance...

On a side note, I didn't like any of the Spiderman movies.  I never understood what all the hype was about.

Actually Head Razz, I was wondering should the " Great Actor doing films for the money" be called the "Olivier Route", "The Brando Route", or " The Steiger Route"?  ( Say what you will about his roles in the Specialist and pretty much everything he did from the 70's on, Steiger was great in the 50's and 60's). Of the four major film Al Capones ( De Niro, Ben Gazzara, Jason Robards, and Steiger) De Niro and Steiger were easily the best ones.

Response from Head RAZZberry: In terms of falling to the lowest point from the highest, I'd have to go with "The Olivier Route." The man was once considered "the world's finest actor," and ended his career with turkeys like JAZZ SINGER and INCHON (for each of which he "won" RAZZIES). His excuse was that he feared his several children from various marriages had all been so ill-parented by him that he decided to amass as much money as he could could grab before he croaked -- That way, he'd at least have something to pass on to his offspring.

All three of the actors you mention, by the way, were multi-time Oscar nominees, but "Sir Larry" holds the record among them: Steiger was nominated 3 times (LINK); Brando was nominated 8 times (LINK) and Olivier had a total of 13 nominations (plus 2 Honorary Awards) as well as two Oscar wins (Here's the IMDb LINK for Larry's details)...

Check this out. They've been releasing a bunch of new posters for SPIDER-MAN 3. Here's one of these posters, and man, who knows? The big question will be this: Is this 3rd Spider-Man movie going to be the weakest of all 3 Spider-Man Movies? I have an answer to that, and that is this: It MOST likely IS going to be. I mean, The Matrix Revolutions was the weakest of the three Matrix trilogy since I know the ending has been given away, thanks to the critics, and even X-Men: The Last Stand was the weakest of the X-Men trilogy as well.

The Mormons were'nt really popular in the beginning, they're now becoming more popular, even in Hollywood.

It will be the weakest. James Franco and Thomas Haden Church are capable of putting on good performances, but they are nowhere near the actors that the past two villains ( Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina) were. Also I'm still having trouble picturing Topher Grace as Eddie Brock. They should have either cast Christian Bale ( It's not impossible, Halle Berry was both Marvel's Storm and DC's Catwoman), or Aaron Eckhart. I know Deadguy doesn't like Eckhart, but I thought he did a great job in Thank You For Smoking. Or Paul Bettany.

Hmmm...I see that you guys are doing some rating/roasting in this topic as well, but in this one, you guys are doing the guys, or hunks. I'll definitely do that. And I've had thoughts of some other guys that should be mentioned in this topic.

Ok, I'll put a name down on here. One pick of mine to put in this forum is Jon Heder, who has been known for playing a bunch of films I didn't like at all, like Napoleon Dynamite, The Benchwarmers, School for Scoundrels, etc. as well as in his upcoming movie with Will Ferrell called Blades of Glory.

Jon Heder, yeah I know what you mean.  Although he's on my "Pay No Mind" (Joe Pesci from Goodfellas) because his careers obviously going downhill.

Next stop:  Hollywood Squares

And earlier to Ryan Phillipe.  He's not that good looking.  On a scale of 1-10 he's a 6, a 6 1/2 if you catch him in a good pic.
