The movie did have its good points, but not enough to cover up for its weakest links: Bo and Daisy Duke.

It was interesting to see Willie Nelson as Uncle Jessie and Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg (the only reasons I actually paid to see this movie at a $2 movie theater). Their performances were promising, perhaps the only highlights of the film.

There were the same old tired jokes that I kept hitting the punchline on even before the joke was over. If they would have kept the timeline in the past (late 70's early 80's) instead of putting it in present times, I felt that this movie might have fared slightly better with fans of the original show, myself included.

I don't think there is quite enough here to worry about a RAZZIE "win" for them Dukes, with ALONE IN THE DARK being its fiercest competition to date for Worst Remake or Sequel.
Comparing Uwe Boll's movies to a sack of horse manure will only get you sued by every fertilizer company in existence...

Although ALONE IN THE DARK is based on a Video Game, by our rules that doesn't qualify it as a Worst Remake or Sequel contender. It needs to be a remake of either an existant movie or TV series. To check out what is qualified to be a nominee, please see our Worst Remake or Sequel POLL ...

To tell you the truth, I actually liked Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg.  I thought that he was the highlight of DUKES! Of course I also thought he was the only good thing about last year's God-Awful WITHOUT A PADDLE. But then again, I even found him amusing in STRIPTEASE, so I may not be the Best Judge when it comes to Ol' Burt...

Definitely the worst movie I saw this year, my girlfriend actually started playing solitaire on her PDA about 1/3 of the way through the movie. And I was jealous!!!

The best thing that I can say is that I didn't pay to see this terrible piece of crap. Some friends gave me tickets. Well I don't think I have spoken to them to much since then.

Let's face it, if you haven't seen Jessica Simpson in a bikini by now, you just aren't visiting the right websites!!!

How could I have I miss Luke Duke in that last posting??? He was the worst one there...

I also felt that movie was less like The Dukes Of Hazzard but a lower form of Jackass The Movie...

Still...kudos for Burt Reynolds and Willie Nelson for having the guts to stick out the script...

To make things worse...the movie was a million times worse than the COY and VANCE Duke episodes in the original TV series...and those sucked big time...

Ok, so I was watching this movie, and I didn't find anything good about that movie at all. This was one of the worst I have ever seen.
