I just re-watched SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. It currently ranks #19 in my All-Time Best list.

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: SINGING' also ranks high among my All-Time Favorites, probably in my Top Ten. In fact, I own a DVD of it, and I've watched it so many times I can practically recite along in perfect sync with all of its dialogue!

You know what's worse than your PC breaking down? That you take it to have it fixed and the technician insists on doing additional stuff, even if you say "No". Luckily, mine's finally fixed.

This episodes includes FATAL ATTRACTION, PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE and THE GREEN MILE (skip to 04:10):

Any thoughts?

Oh, there are two I've got to add to the list!

First is THE PHYNX (1970). Here's the trailer from YouTube...

Second is THE TELEPHONE BOOK (1971) with Barry Morse as a porn star named "Har Poon" and Roger C. Carmel as a flasher...who puts his clothes back on!

^I gave it an 8, too!

I liked it much more than I expected... can't believe its time run is actually 3 hours

That said, I don't think Tom Cruise's character is memorable at all, I can't see how his performance was so highly praised by critics

Funny you mention that. When I first saw MAGNOLIA many years ago, my first impression was "Tom Cruise and Julianne Moore have given 2 of the worst performances I've seen in my life". This time, my impression was "Cruise was over-the-top in a good way. Moore isn't unwatchable but she is over-the-top in a bad way and almost ruins the movie".

I know I'm going off topic, but really I needed to share this. This song is the only good thing to come out of XANADU
