Most crix gave this remake 3-Ds: Dumb, Doofy and Dramatically Bankrupt...

Here's a MetaCritic LINK, and an R.T. LINK to see how savagely crix cracked down on the Kracken-crowded remake of CLASH OF THE TITANS...

.. a picture that mistakes furious action for excitement and ponderous performances for drama.

Is that a copy and paste from a random review?
The Four Horsemen of the Moviepocalypse: uncalled for sequels/remakes/reboots, 3-D surcharges, untalented "celebrities", and anything with Michael Bay's name attached to it.

R.T. gave it 28%:"An obviously affectionate remake of the 1981 original, the film doesn't offer enough visual thrills to offset the deficiencies of its script".

Roger Ebert gave it ***/****:"I don't say it's good cinema, although I recognize the craftsmanship that went into it.I don't say it's good acting, when the men have so much facial hair they all look like Liam Neeson.I like the energy, the imagination, the silliness".

Richard Roeper gave it a C-:"A schlocky camp-fest with a few fun sequences where goofball clash with the actors providing plenty of ham to go with the cheesy story".
