Critics are stomping all over this movie like it was the tiny King of Lilliput: Here's a MetaCritic LINK, and an R.T. LINK, to see just how small-minded reviewers found this latest version of GULLIVER'S TRAVELS to be...

R.T. gave it 20%:"Though Jack Black is back doing what he does best, the film largely fails to do any justice to its source material, relying instead on juvenile humor and special effects".

Roger Ebert gave it ***/****:"This is live action, and despite the 3-D, it's sorta old-fashioned, not that that's a bad thing".

Peter Travers gave it */****:"The 3D effects are beyond cheesy when they exist at all. At one point, Black puts out a fire by pissing on it. It's my job as a critic to piss on this dumb excuse for a movie. Consider it done".
